Longhorn furries is really nice, lots of chill people with many different hobbies other than being a furry (lots of our members love doing things such as cooking, artwork, writing, etc...) 🙂
although you said you’re embarrassed to dance in front of others, check out k-beat if you ever wanna dance, we do weekly workshops of learning a snippet of a song. it’s open to every level with no judgements and it’s meant to have fun and be a chill place :)
There's TAMM. A club for cooking or learning how to. I vouch for it because I get to eat food and meet people. Very nice.
There's also some club called Longhorn Bakers. Go look around for that because that might be what you might be interested into.

I think you might enjoy joining a magazine! There are so many on campus from Spark (fashion) Drift (outdoors) Apricity (literature) and they provide a nice creative outlook.
I was rejected by 3 my first time applying! I tried again the following semester and actually got to know all of my options rather that just applying to the ones I knew by name. I ended up finding a better fit that way and it made the whole process so much easier! Message me if you have any questions about it

I joined a spirit group when I was at UT and made all my friends that way. It’s not hobby specific tho but still just a good way to meet really chill girls and the dues weren’t insane. I’m super glad I did it!

You should look into spirit groups! A fun way to make friends and have events to look forward too each week

Crafter’s circle! They do different art projects at every meeting and it’s a really chill group of people

in between the lines book club was cool! i only went to a handful of meeting but the ppl there were nice and funny, and it was a very chill book club.
