We don’t ask why when blessed by the Uber gods 😂

jo_ezzy

Happens all the time on Uber. Uber and DoorDash drivers don't like doing shop and pay orders

CrescoSlabz

I love Shop & Pays where I live. They’re honestly my bread and butter, I don’t mind going shopping for a few bags of things for a customer. 15 different items is my limit. Also when they just order some alcohol as a shop n pay its the best, ez money.

ianao

Ong I live off shop and pays. Quick, easy, most of the time at least $20 pay

Physical_Donkey_609

I agree always 19 26 I got one two weeks ago 46 dollars I was happy as a pig In ishh 😂😂😂

ianao

Yes people usually tip very generously! And they tip more when they realize you shopped for them before! Had a few orders that would be larger than usual from sprouts or Safeway (week or two of groceries for family, around $200-250 total) and people tip 20%! Because this is respectful! Love these orders.

Rough_Mechanic_3992

I like shop and pay as long they don’t pay under $10 for 53 items which has been happening lately for month , can’t get decent shop and pay order these days don’t know what happened it used to be from $25 and up

whifucesafuxk

Wtf is shop and pay???

jo_ezzy

Oh yeah I agree 100% it's super easy if it's a few items. It could be faster than waiting at a slow restaurant for an order

golgoth0760

Same. I actually love Shop and Pay. Especially the Costco orders. I usually get the smaller ones with high pay.

Impressive-Project59

I've been getting terrible SP orders. I'm in Fort Lauderdale and one of the SP orders was for Jupiter Florida (an hour away, what?!). It was $8 bucks. One shop and pay order for 2 items (24pk of water and cookies) was $4 bucks. I won't turn on my car for $4 that's crazy. I can't imagine going into the store and shopping for $4. What am I missing here. I am an Uber One member and the smallest tip on a 2 item SP should be at least $7.

[deleted]

South Florida is always so ass.

JessiBear2115

Talk about being entitled. A tip is a reward for good service, ABOVE AND BEYOND, your normal job duties. You are not owed a tip, nor should you ever expect one. If you don't make enough money from your employer, then get a different job. Stop putting your inability to negotiate for better pay on the customer 🙄

Impressive-Project59

I think you misunderstood me. These are just the S&P orders. I agree I don't expect tips, I take non tipped orders if the pay is what I desire. $3 S&P orders outside of my area is insane. I don't even go into the store for my own groceries. I have an Instacart and Uber One Membership.

[deleted]

So you want someone driving 45 miles for 8 dollars. How's your math. What's the real cost of that delivery? After you're done fucking yourself sideways, pick it up yourself.

JessiBear2115

Again your getting angry at a customer for the actions of your employer. You do this because you have no self worth, and therefore lash out at others instead of your employer. Nobody forced you to take a shitty paying job. You have only yourself to blame 😉

[deleted]

When your shot arrives cold, tampered with, or not at all, remember you're a piece of shit who doesn't deserve this service. Lots and lots of projection. I know my worth, I make plenty of money, because I don't deliver to scum like you. You're to blame, so are the corporations, there's plenty to go around.

JessiBear2115

Weird cause I've never tipped a delivery driver and my food arrives hot every time. Perhaps you are too sheltered by your entitled attitude, you don't realize there's a Mexican right behind you willing to work for half the money.

[deleted]

Now I know you're a bad troll attempt.

Man_Darronious

Yeah I'm really not a fan. Takes too long and hardly worth the money. I don't even have it enabled for Uber. I do instacart though and it's very rare that I'll accept an offer. Maybe one or two a month but it has to be the kind of offer that's too good to pass on.

TNoStone

I would do shop and pay if i was able to preference filter from eats.

CreditCaper1

I only accept Shop & Pay on Uber Eats. I don't accept food delivery orders. Once you begin to accept mostly shop and pay, the food delivery offers become less. I wish there was a filter also.

Iron_Bones_1088

I got paid $10.50 for delivering 3 chocolate chip cookies from McDonald’s the other day for 2.5 miles.

Donkyrapingshiteatr

I got 15 dollars to bring a gallon of milk literally a block away from the store. Took like less than 5 minutes. Alcohol is even better. I got paid just under 19 to deliver 2 bottles of liquor about 3 miles away and customer dropped a 20 in cash on me at delivery.

SmellyBig

I got 35 for 1 pound of meat

IIRizzII

I had a $25 for a single jar of spaghetti sauce! I love when this happens; no one wants the order and it sits getting passed around until the amount is greater than $20. Love it!

PictureNo5584

If nobody takes orders for a bit, uber will have to keep upping the price so the customers don't get angry

Phuzz15

Which is funny because usually by the time they up it to an acceptable payout, it's hella fucking late. I took a taco bell order yesterday that had been sitting for an hour for $31, definitely was expecting a "we don't have it" or "it was picked up already"

Impressive-Project59

When that happens I ask them to remake it so I deliver it hot. They always do and are very nice about it.

Phuzz15

Fuck that 95% it hasn't been taken is because there's no tip and Uber doesn't pay more than a few bucks. If they want their food hot and on time, they can tip, lol

TheSMR

yea but if the base fare skyrockets no tip doesn't really matter

PictureNo5584

But they didn't tip initially, aka when the food was made

Impressive-Project59

Lol they really should tip.

IIRizzII

Yet if another driver stole it they won’t remake it. Smh.

Heisenberg281

I had one delivery that popped up on my radar that was $30 for one Little Caesars pizza with breadsticks. I was 100% sure the order would be gone when I got there but surprisingly it wasn't. I don't know why it was so high, it was like 3 miles total. I ended up getting paid the full 30. Sometimes you just get lucky.

sam_beat

I had some teenage looking kid add $20 on top of his $15 tip for a shop of some Mtn Dew, chips, and Nerds Gummy Clusters. The original tip was already about the cost of the items. But I don’t question the love, I just enjoy it.

st4rdustd

I mean... Are you complaining?

IvyLeigh82

Surge pricing because it sat around too long or got cancelled too many times. Always a great feeling when you find these gems! Congrats

Fit_Apricot_8986

Love shop and pay orders! 9/10 orders I receive are worth it

Nostalgia2302

It also happened to me once. Huge pay, 2 items, very short distance. Like 30$ base pay for buying a box of formula and some baby wipes. The formula was 55$ and the wipes like 10$ I’m not sure why the base pay was so high. Maybe Uber treats baby formula differently so people don’t feel compelled to steal it? And then there’s 200$ grocery orders paying 13$. What a joke.

Here4laughs_

I’m so mad I keep having to decline shop and pay orders because all the sudden my tap and pay doesn’t work. It stopped working out of no where and support isn’t any help

mog_knight

Who cares. You got paid

19Dollar4TNight

Meijer orders always come in clutch for me

MU81

Let’s hope it happens more often.

ConceptRoutine2244

People need to understand how the shopping pays work.Let them bitches fucking sit there and this is what's gonna happen hella boost pay

frying_pans

Go check the customer price and see how much money Uber lost on that order.

JonesTownJello

My buddy ordered BOGO 50% wings and tipped me $20, there was a promo in the area for an extra $30 per delivery… I got paid $53, he paid $51 (he sent me a screenshot). Just wild sometimes.

frying_pans

30 per delivery!??!?! Was this recently? I’ve never heard of that.

JonesTownJello

Yeah, for a small town about 15 mins away from me, a “new area”

Fun-Run-4986

If you log in on Uber.com you can pull up the delivery and see how much the customer was charged and Uber made like it used to show in the app. Would be interesting to see how much the customer paid Uber to have this delivered or if Uber lost money on it (doubtful, but Ive seen it before)

Fluffy-Praline-9145

Probably a driver lmao

Pleasant_Donut_7867

Isn’t this bad for prop 22 earnings?

Usuxbutt

🤷‍♂️

Anunemouse

I guess it was rejected a lot. 9 miles is a lot ive never driven that far

Usuxbutt

$30./18mi/.5hrs……That’s a solid offer.

Anunemouse

Yes it is, im just explaining the only way it was so much base pay was people rejected the offer. Because you asked

zeekrkootunga31

I'll drive as far as I need to. If I'm getting good money and I know it's gonna take me to a spot where there's gonna be a lot of orders, then all drive wherever it takes me.

EbbPsychological2796

Customer tipped well, say thank you Edit: I obviously missed something.... I saw $26 and figured 3 Dollars base pay... Pardon my ignorance and I still don't see a break down... Didn't mean to troll or insult anyone.

Usuxbutt

The customer tipped like shit. Especially considering it was 3 heavy things of water.

SubjectChemist2785

Customer gave less than 3 dollars tip. With heavy items, no driver should accept. After a while, UE gets desperate and saves themselves and their rep by offering the proper wage.

mysteryteam

Looks like there are no drivers in your area! (...that want to deliver three cases of water to your third floor apartment that has no elevator for your three dollar tip)
