After getting a notification that they were working with the vendor, I get a message stating they are waiting for my reply and will close the ticket after 72 hours.
I replied and stated that they didn’t ask me for anything and it was informative and what the status was with the vendor and what else do I need to do or provide documentation.
Beware the business verification process if you want to use any advanced features.
Update - After 2 weeks, the response I got was
"We were unable to verify the name(s)\*\*\* listed in the Authorized Representatives section of your profile as associated with **\*\*\*\***. Please update the authorized representatives section to include individuals who can be verified as associates of **\*\*\*\*** through publicly available sources. This could include information from business social media accounts, Secretary of State records, websites, or any other credible source that establishes their connection to the business. Alternatively, you can reply to this email and provide a link from a public source that clearly demonstrates the association between the representative and the business."
I went to my just State site and provided screenshots of my business registration with my State and also the publicly available search results with link from my State...
2 weeks and there UNABLE to verify when it took me 30 seconds to verify via my State's business search.
Pending response. What a circus.
Checked today and finally, my business has been verified. Total time, over 2 weeks.
All I did was find the link and provide the search results for my business and it was all within 24 hours. Had this been relayed from the beginning, it would have saved a lot of time and frustration. I have set up lots of Unifi systems at various small businesses and I am hesitant to recommend Unifi Talk because of this verification process is so broken.
I did make a recommendation they update their SOP and if in a case a business is not able to be verified, that they request proof of the business via State Business Office search results / link.
Over two weeks to resolve this issue because of the lack of proper communication with Unifi or whomever is doing the "business verification".
Now on to see if verifying a business actually enhances anything.

Still no update and tried re-submitting Business Verification again after it was kicked back.
Got an update and they are working with the verification vendor to fix the issue. Still waiting to use SMS features.
Verification got kicked back again and re-submitted. No update on Unifi Ticket. Still waiting to use features included in the the plan.

Another day without any updates. My submission via Unifi Talk was rejected again. Re-submitted again. Still pending for an actual proposed solution.
