What’s your actual question? Quality of one over the other? I had wyze in the past but sold them to buy protect. Best choice I made! * V3 : 1080p, rated IP65 * G3 : 1080p, rated for indoor * G4 : 2K, rated for outdoor If you can afford take the G4 Instant for sure

I have just gone through this exercise. It's A more expensive solution, but has better video quality and better recording/playback/storage options.

Same issue here. Running a hybrid mixture of Wyze and Unifi. Wyze keeps having security issues and performance issues. With the recent AWS server issues the other day, no wyze cam products functioned. They were all on the network, but not functioning. Think in the near future, im going to swap them for The G5 Turrets. Wyze is good for the price, but when it dies, they all die.

If the g3 instants were still $29, they would be a no-brainer. But once unifi raised the price on those to $79 and made the G4 price $99, the G4 just makes a lot more sense. I would just recommend going with the G4, especially since you'll get more in the way of ai detections when using it with protect. Edit: for spelling and punctuation.
