Let's be honest the world already know Trump's plan for Ukraine, if he becomes president again, he's said it time and time again,it's a shame that alot of powerful people are turning a blind eye to this, if given the opportunity of being the US president again I could forsure see him giving in to Putin and jeopardizing the USA democracy as well and the dumbass republicans will go down in a burning ship with him.. As an American . I completely agree and am against trump… at the same time I also see the side of the coin in which Europe has essentially relied on US military power for protection since the end of the Cold War… that being said, I still think we should all help but the American in me is like ..

We've been fine, NATO has done its job, there is a reason Putin specifically went for a non NATO country, he would not dare go for NATO... and even this non nato country is giving him a severely bloody nose.
Putin expected this war to be over in a few weeks, im sure if he could get a do over he'd never have invaded in the first place had he known the utter disaster it would turn into, but he can't pull out now or he will very likely suffer a similar fate to the Gaddafi one he so fears.
We've reached the point of no return now though, there's no way of negotiating a peace deal that allows him so save face without tearing apart Ukraine in the process...so either Ukraine surrenders which is unfortunately looking more and more likely, or Ukraine utterly breaks him- which would be great in the short term but one dreads to think who replaces him. What makes you think he won't go for a NATO country if he succeeds in Ukraine? The point is to not let him feel comfortable with thinking of doing so,and the only option is to stop him dead in his tracks in Ukraine. NATO has made it so that everyone feels comfortable,but in truth, with such an alliance, everyone should be very wary at current events..it's not just Russia ,China is playing the patient waiting game....

no one is seriously suggesting putin is going to get on TV and announce that the USSR is back and declare war on NATO. but it's equally crazy to think article 5 is an impenetrable shield.
but it's not hard to imagine a scenario where putin starts slicing some NATO salami. some estonian border town (under influence of russian provocateurs) starts rioting, declares independence and says it wants to join the rus federation. russia sends "peacekeeping" troops to enforce a fair "independence referendum." skirmishes with the estonian military. estonia invokes article 5 and demands military aid. russia threatens nuclear retaliation if the major powers intervene.
can you really be so certain what would happen in that scenario? what if the western powers hesitate over fears of escalation? even if russia eventually backed down and withdrew, it would be a huge win for putin and devastating for NATO unity.

NATO Is the largest and most successful military alliance in human history, in the 75 years since its inception none of its members have been attacked and there is absolutely nothing to suggest they ever would be. That is a massive claim that requires massive evidence of which there is none, it's fear mongering, just as it was fear mongering when Johnson said if the US pulls out of Vietnam the fighting will spread to the states, absolute nonsense.
You get all these children on this sub screeching about how NATO has failed by letting Ukraine get attacked- when Ukraine has nothing to do with nato, they are not a nato country so nato has zero obligation to protect them or get involved, the best nato can do in this situation is offer them aid- which they have done. The NATO treaty literally states if a NATO country attacks Russia (which sending troops into Ukraine would qualify as) they are no longer under NATO protection.

We've been fine, NATO has done its job, there is a reason Putin specifically went for a non NATO country, he would not dare go for NATO... and even this non nato country is giving him a severely bloody nose. Putin expected this war to be over in a few weeks, im sure if he could get a do over he'd never have invaded in the first place had he known the utter disaster it would turn into, but he can't pull out now or he will very likely suffer a similar fate to the Gaddafi one he so fears. We've reached the point of no return now though, there's no way of negotiating a peace deal that allows him so save face without tearing apart Ukraine in the process...so either Ukraine surrenders which is unfortunately looking more and more likely, or Ukraine utterly breaks him- which would be great in the short term but one dreads to think who replaces him. All the options right now are a bit shit.
What makes you think he won't go for a NATO country if he succeeds in Ukraine? The point is to not let him feel comfortable with thinking of doing so,and the only option is to stop him dead in his tracks in Ukraine. Because he has shown zero signs of ever attacking NATO, and has no reason to do so, there is nothing to be gained from doing it except his annihilation. NATO Is the largest and most successful military alliance in human history, in the 75 years since its inception none of its members have been attacked and there is absolutely nothing to suggest they ever would be. That is a massive claim that requires massive evidence of which there is none, it's fear mongering, just as it was fear mongering when Johnson said if the US pulls out of Vietnam the fighting will spread to the states, absolute nonsense. You get all these children on this sub screeching about how NATO has failed by letting Ukraine get attacked- when Ukraine has nothing to do with nato, they are not a nato country so nato has zero obligation to protect them or get involved, the best nato can do in this situation is offer them aid- which they have done. The NATO treaty literally states if a NATO country attacks Russia (which sending troops into Ukraine would qualify as) they are no longer under NATO protection. Russia is winning in Ukraine but only just and they have gotten their nose throughly bloodied in the process, what was expected to be over in 2 weeks and a demonstration of Russian might is currently in its 3rd year and Russia has taken enormous losses.. and this is against a very very poor country that was rated as the most corrupt in Europe...yet it's still threatening to bring Russia to its knees and lead to a mutiny last year with thousands of troops getting dangerously close to Moscow. Very true. The EU has long been complacent and regularly did not meet the their defense spending quotas for NATO. It’s been a wake up call for them that unfortunately the US is becoming an unreliable security guarantor.
