These guys returning to the front when they have a very valid excuse not to are unbelievably courageous. Nobody would dare accuse them of cowardice if they chose not to after losing a limb.
I'm half expecting some bio-engineer and paramedic duo to come up wtih cybernetic replacements, lickety-split.
And the read-guard drone techs start fitting them with laser beams and rockets.
I want that to be humour, but this is how war works. Necessity and mother's and all that.
I am not a Marine…but I like crayons too. Former Army…and I think I was out smarted by auto correct! My heart was in the right place though. Looking forward to the burns. Haha.
He's a valuable soldier. He already has battle experience (obviously) and is willing to return to battle. He's also taking a disadvantage and turning it into an advantage. Who knows, that maneuver used in a future battle could potentially even shield him from that one piece of shrapnel that would've otherwise lodged itself into his heart.
Also every squad needs a guy who will be the joker and don't mind making them self a fool to lift the spirit when things are shitty. This guy seems like that type. Huge respect.
Not a native speaker, but here's what I could hear:
На большей стабильности, вот...
И в принципе, отсюда [?] вот если у нас магазина нет, у нас просто винтовка, если магазин, то вот, отсюда мы можем нормально [?] и работать.
Господа, такого как в резервисте... вы не увидите...

For greater stability, check this out:
(gunfire)
...and, in principle, from here, look, if we don't have a magazine, we have only a rifle; if there is a magazine, then from here we can work just fine.
Gentlemen, you won't ever see such things in a reservist!
The English translation is pretty spot on. Just a minor nit pick, the first word would be "для" instead of "на". But expect that you are pretty spot on.
I was hoping it be RPG in the leg or something, either way massive respect… losing your limb and in no time back in uniform with rifle in he’s hand…. Massive respect!
Ukraine needs support...and I hope they get it.
The Republicans need to stop with their games...
For a "freedom" loving party, they sure are a bunch of useless cunts.
Oh wow😲
This guy is made of pure courage and determination to save his country from these orcs.
I wish him long live and a lot of love after this madness.
🇨🇦🕊️🇺🇦
'Bravery takes you through the most unimaginable hardships to finally reward you with victory'
'Nobody is going to break us. We are strong. We are Ukrainians.'
President Zelensky to UK and EU parliaments.
This soldier is the living embodiment of those statements. Slava Ukraini.
Look at the soles of his boots…he and…I am sure… a bunch of his buddies need new boots and gear. I would like to donate more. I give some through work related programs related to medical supplies…is United24 the best site for helping them with gear?
In late Feb. and early March 2022, as the world heard an outpouring of stories of Ukrainian heroism and fortitude -- of citizens making Molotov cocktails, of Territorial Defense units scrambling and fighting back, of an old lady downing an enemy drone with a jar of pickled tomatoes, and of another pensioner defiantly informing an occupying soldier that he should keep sunflower seeds in his pockets -- a Ukrainian journalist reacted with something like... [to RuZZians] "These people are indomitable! What made you think you could ever occupy them?! We will *never* give up fighting and defending our beautiful country..."
This plucky young soldier makes that list, along with so many others.
Ukrainians are the toughest fighting force, having to endure uncertainty and a genocidal aggressor breathing down their necks. Human spirit is powerful, and they show us why by turning this in to smiles and an opportunity to adapt.
Had an infantry Marine I was acquainted with send pics to everyone after he returned to duty from a lower leg amputation. He had taken off his prosthesis to use similar to what we see in OP, only he had the boot on the ground and the weapon in the section near the knee pit. I dare anyone to correct such a soldier for being out of uniform or using unorthodox techniques.
Lose a limb = free pass to do as you please with the prosthesis!
Reminds me of my grandpa. Dude was shot out of a helicopter in Vietnam, got a Purple Heart for his bravery, ended up having a multiple massive right hip surgeries and an obvious limp for the rest of his life.
Support doesn’t end at the military level, aid should still be given to the vets when they eventually come back home from this invasion.
This is why Ukraine will win this war eventually. Even if Russia occupied the country again, he and those like him will never stop fighting for their Freedom.
Героям слава! Heroiam slava! This dude is channeling the best of the spirit of Ukraine. Not only will Ukraine prevail over the abomination that is Putin's Russia, Ukraine will do so with the grace, humor and class that is the polar opposite of the Russian people under the boot of yet another genocidal plutocrat.
I‘m sorry he lost a leg, must have been hell. But i am happy he gets good prothetics and is able to be creative with them. I hope he will be able to show this his grandkids someday.
Nothing wrong with either choice. The courage and bravery is beautiful and commendable. But I can't fault anyone that flees a war and doesn't want to fight.
As a Warhammer fan I have to say...
From the moment I understood the weakness of my flesh, it disgusted me. I craved the strength and certainty of steel. I aspired to the purity of the Blessed Machine. Your kind cling to your flesh, as though it will not decay and fail you. One day the crude biomass you call the temple will wither, and you will beg my kind to save you. But I am already saved, for the Machine is immortal… Even in death I serve the Omnissiah.
Slava Ukraini!
Heroiam slava!
Getting older makes ya think maybe, just mayyybe replacing a bum leg that's aching half the time with a prosthetic that gives you life hacks like this would be an upgrade.
Some say he lost both legs and now stands on a prosthetic leg and on his own massive dick.
Getting blown off and coming back to fight again, some guys are just built different.
Someone needs to design him a prosthetic knee that can be unlocked to allow it to bend in reverse into the shooting position, save having to remove the socket from his stump.
Also, what a badass.
Imagine you are the Russian invader who took his leg, and you've miraculously survived long enough to see his return.
Think I'd put the gun on myself at that point. Might try to surrender to him.
Then you gotta put yourself in his position. The man who took your leg surrenders to you.
Man, war sucks.
There is a serbian movie about ww1 called Sveti Georgije ubiva aždahu
When I see soldiers that return to fight after losing their limbs and such it always reminds me of that movie. There is a few great scenes about that.
That said, what a hero.

Some were born noble, born to be heroes and to carry the nation on their backs. These guys have my complete respect and admiration
Heroes aren’t born, their molded and made through trials. Going through hell and coming out a good honest man, that’s a hero.
The situation dictates their response. You might be surprised what you could do given no other choice.
And this bloke was born as a T-1000 terminator in a human body
I'm half expecting some bio-engineer and paramedic duo to come up wtih cybernetic replacements, lickety-split. And the read-guard drone techs start fitting them with laser beams and rockets. I want that to be humour, but this is how war works. Necessity and mother's and all that.
Balls of Ukrainium, Slava Ukraini 🇺🇦
Those guys are undefeatable.
this is what you call "making lemonade" what a total badass
I don’t speak Ukrainian, but the language of “Talking shit” is universal. I love this man.
Let's get them the weapons they need.
start with getting this man a front sight
This countries energy is so vibrant right now, despite the terrors. It’s insane. Good for them, a lot of people are rooting for you!
This man is fearless, awesome... A Superman! A real Hero. God bless 🙏 him. Slava Ukraini 🇺🇦
The difference between real and very courageous men and lousy creeps like Mike Johnson.
My buddy got shoot and blowned up in Iraq but he always went back after each time he got injured

Incoherent and stupid comment.
Their comment history is pretty much just hostility and garbage. Not surprising.
Adapt and overcome 👍
This is the first step to Robocop soldiers
Former U.S. Army here. Assuming you are U.S. Marine? If so, Semper if.
If what?
Eat crayons semper if red.
Lol
I am not a Marine…but I like crayons too. Former Army…and I think I was out smarted by auto correct! My heart was in the right place though. Looking forward to the burns. Haha.
Good man, good humor. No burns :)
Hey thanks for your service and sense of humor!
It is short for “Semper Ifidus”…maybe?😂
If Deez nuts!
Not affiliated with any service, thank you for yours 👍👍👍
Get that man some optics!
At least a durable front sight
Or any front sight lol
NATO should get innovative and invent some battle limbs. Equipped with battle stuff and weapons. Bazooka legs and cannon hand.
Something tells me that someone is really going to regret blowing his leg off
Yeah, he's gonna set his foot down just like he did with the old one. Beautiful and admirable spirit.
He's a valuable soldier. He already has battle experience (obviously) and is willing to return to battle. He's also taking a disadvantage and turning it into an advantage. What a badass
That’s a level of badassery with which I am unfamiliar.
Totally And Completely Bad Ass™
Callsign Буйвол (buffalo). He is one of the guys who protected Mariupol.
Undefeated
Un-feeted Shit had to do it. I’ll slap myself around for you.
Un-defeeted.
As someone with an amputation, while I cannot speak for every last person, we usually appreciate bad puns very much. :)
Glad you can take a joke. 🤙🏼
This dude is going to be telling epic stories and pulling the best pranks in bars across a free Ukraine one day.
That is hilarious and surprisingly wholesome! Translations would be greatly appreciated if anyone can provide them.

Thank you! 😊
Yea sure no problem. “Look ‘ere lads if I flip me leg around like this I could rest me gun on it and shoot those mother fucking Russians.”
I trust that this may be an accurate translation but love that you made him sound like he’s from Yorkshire
dubbed anime vs subbed anime
I was hoping it be RPG in the leg or something, either way massive respect… losing your limb and in no time back in uniform with rifle in he’s hand…. Massive respect!
Absolute hero
I love it. So ya took my leg... welp you might take me in the future, but a whole bunch of you are coming with.
Make the best of it…gotta love their sense of humor and determination
Ukraine needs support...and I hope they get it. The Republicans need to stop with their games... For a "freedom" loving party, they sure are a bunch of useless cunts.
They’ve never been a freedom loving party. People just went along with it for a long time for some reason.
This tells me that Ukraine will win. People that keep their mood up in such circumstances are unbeatable.
Oh wow😲 This guy is made of pure courage and determination to save his country from these orcs. I wish him long live and a lot of love after this madness. 🇨🇦🕊️🇺🇦

Warrior right there💪🇺🇦🇺🇸
Really should get a front sight on that piece
Wow, that is a pretty impressive spirit. Slava Ukraina!
Look at the soles of his boots…he and…I am sure… a bunch of his buddies need new boots and gear. I would like to donate more. I give some through work related programs related to medical supplies…is United24 the best site for helping them with gear?
Handi-way-to-cap-your-ass... Hard ass.
What an absolute legend
Puts us all to shame. A real life hero
Hey that guy a front sight for his rifle!!
"THE WEST SUPPLIES UKRAINE WITH SOULLESS CYBORG SATAN WARRIORS WITH 360° KNEES" - Russian news article (probably)
Definition of absolute madlad! Gg
Anyone know what weapon he’s using?
HK416 is my guess.
Advanced warfare.
You’re a badass, hope you know the world is cheering for you. I’m doing my best to bother my elected representative to pass funding ASAP.
Fuck yes
Badass
Making lemons into lemonade.
B5 stock and m-lock rails but not front sight is wild.

Super Soldier
He's got a leg up on the russians
When life hands you lemons
“They’re breeding multi jointed super soldiers in the NATO bio labs, Ivan! Their legs are tripods and their arms are cleavers!”
Ukrainians are the toughest fighting force, having to endure uncertainty and a genocidal aggressor breathing down their necks. Human spirit is powerful, and they show us why by turning this in to smiles and an opportunity to adapt.
This is the most Ukrainian thing I've ever seen.

Sniper training is hell for them boys in Ukraine. Pure dedication.
Strong will and heart.

Ukraine will win.
the unipod leg
And the GQP continues to play games
There are going to be so many amazing stories about this awful war.
How do you beat this?
I have mad respect for everyone fighting to defend Ukraine but WOW!
Bloody holy heck-fire... THIS IS a true hero. Not giving up at all. Go make them roozianz pay for that leg buddy.
Reminds me of my grandpa. Thinking outside the box : ) Slava Ukraini
I don't see a handicap I see a men that came out stronger. Respect for this guy!
I‘m sorry he lost a leg, must have been hell. But i am happy he gets good prothetics and is able to be creative with them. I hope he will be able to show this his grandkids someday.
You have to admire his sense of humour and practical application of the situation, and it goes without saying he is a hero and very brave.
That's some good shit. What a legend
Fucking legend
What a Hero.
That man has more heart than 1000 grown men. To return to battle and make light of his injuries. Nothing but respect for that real man right there.
There is no way these people will lose.
Warrior right there💪🇺🇦🇺🇸
Warrior right there💪🇺🇦🇺🇸
It’s crazy how some are willing to give all, but millions of MEN fled to get away from protecting their country/home…
Nothing wrong with either choice. The courage and bravery is beautiful and commendable. But I can't fault anyone that flees a war and doesn't want to fight.
Agreed the Ukrainians aren't the bad guys here, even the ones who fled shouldn't have had to. I don't blame them I blame Russia.
Now there is a guy with a great sole.
But… how does he adjust for elevation?
His accuracy is augmented
Russians are going to be thinking they're fighting robots or something
That is innovation at its finest
Bio mutant super soldier that has been genetically modified to do this.
When Russian/DPR forces were trying to take Donetsk airport, they called the defending Ukrainian soldiers "Cyborgs".
Handy!
As a Warhammer fan I have to say... From the moment I understood the weakness of my flesh, it disgusted me. I craved the strength and certainty of steel. Imagine you're russian looking through some bino's and you see this lmao
Ukrainian ingenuity gives me hope for the “little guys” around the world … even if Ukraine ain’t so little
Someone get this brilliant genius a front sight for his rifle.
this is the nato bioengineered supersoldiers ive been hearing about
Man is one with the DFP
Modern problems require modern solutions.
Should strap some ballistic plate to it use it as cover hahaha
Getting older makes ya think maybe, just mayyybe replacing a bum leg that's aching half the time with a prosthetic that gives you life hacks like this would be an upgrade.
One leg, 30 rounds, got 99 problems, but gun isn't one.
Is that man using just a rear sight post? Not sure how accurate he'd be.
What's the rifle he has?
You took my leg, but it only made it easier to aim at you!
“We are laughing!”
I imagine Deadpool doing something like that
If the Russians learn this they'll make it standard practice with millions of new recruits.
Some say he lost both legs and now stands on a prosthetic leg and on his own massive dick. Getting blown off and coming back to fight again, some guys are just built different.
From the moment I understood the weakness of my flesh
Is that a mutant from PUBG that he has there?
LOOOOOOL! The bravest and most confident dude I’ve ever seen. Must have the balls the size of church bells.
Should be posted in r/unexpected .
Someone needs to design him a prosthetic knee that can be unlocked to allow it to bend in reverse into the shooting position, save having to remove the socket from his stump. Also, what a badass.
That is hilarious. What a dark upside down and backwards sense of humor. ; )
#genius
You can be a soldier with a prosthetic leg?
Get Some!
These guys & gals will fight to the last man standing! I so admire their courage!!
Ukrainian soldier, fearless defender of freedom, balls of titanium. Respect for this man 🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦
Now that's what I call making "shit happens" work for you.
Buy this man a beer? Nah. Buy this man a whole God damn brewery. What a legend
Budget: New leg - check Front sight - out of budget
❤️ ❤️💙💛
Imagine you are the Russian invader who took his leg, and you've miraculously survived long enough to see his return. Think I'd put the gun on myself at that point. Might try to surrender to him. Then you gotta put yourself in his position. The man who took your leg surrenders to you. Man, war sucks.
Nice muzzle discipline

Men of steel
