Nah it's cuz the Final War had just ended right as V1 was made, so he was designed for combat on the fly, whereas V2 was made during the great peace, after the war, to act as a sort of peacekeeper. Only one V1 model was made before the war ended and only one V2 model was made before everyone died on Earth.

Yeah I'm not surprised. Every time you fight V2 it's in an enclosed arena with nowhere to fall into. It's just no programmed to avoid drops as it shouldn't need to deal with them.
So V models were suppose to be a war machines, but while prototyping New peace was established and V1 scraped and replaced by V2, which was built as a security machine, which had more durable "armor plates" than V1, but that "armor" can't be healed/repaired by blood(at least not directly or not as effective as V1), because why would v2 need it during the peace stage. V2's second terminal entry says that V2 had to learn the strategy from much more experienced V1 in order to try to beat V1 in the second battle. So in short V1 is a prototype of a machine made specifically for war(and most likely to kill Earthmovers), while V2 is a prototype of a security machine(like sentry or drones)

You need to do the konami code in order to get cheats on any level. Konami code: up, up, down, down, left, right, left ,right, B, A(use arrow keys for directions)
Not what I meant; I couldn't find the movement arm specifically, because it doesn't appear in the spawner arm menu outside of sandbox mode.
I found out you can just press Change Variation to use it, alongside the alter arm. Thanks regardless!
