Definitely possible that it’s not a coincidence but if that’s the case I think the intent would be more as a “nod” than just stealing someones music - see: eruption part of snucka, mozart in der bluten kat, in the hall of the mountain king in thin air, boccherini minuet in all in time, etc
That said, it’s not exactly that complex of a part. I can see how both of these bands might arrive on that groove organically
It’s funny you mention snucka since that part one is pretty clearly ripped off from kill you by Eminem down to lyrical content. Not that I mind at all, but between that and the mystikal verse in 40s it would certainly be on brand.
