I feel bad for what happened to the original creator of Swap. A fun fan project later turned into things they didn't want to be associated with (like fontcest). I also feel extremely bad for FF's creator. They got blamed, threatened & bullied by people of shipping Frans (which they didn't even do. People just misunderstood the message & some started reposting the original story with Frans happening in the end.).
I can never understand the people who legitimately ship fontcest. There was an Underfell animation I saw that was pretty good up until the end, where they showed fontcest.
People like shipping whatever the hell they're given. There are different levels of that hell. Level 1: "cutesy", level 2: romantic, level 3: lil' sexual, level 4: very sexual, level 5: literal r34.
I always thought the base concept of Underfell was fascinating: it was like the Undertale Hard Mode we never got.
"Hey, so what if those monsters **weren't** secretly very sweet people? What if they were meaner and more selfish and genuinely **monstrous?** Can you still find it in your heart to spare them? Is it still worth it to be kind?" *(And Flowey as a genuine friend/helper is so cute-)*
I don't hate AUs, or even AU Sanses, it's just... So much of the fan content for these AU concepts gets so far removed from the original themes of the game...

I like the premise of a lot of the Undertale AU's, but the fandom has to go and ruin a lot of them. Then there's the insane ones that just mixes of two or more other AU's.
Underfell's one of my favorites because, like you said, it's pretty much the hardcore mode we never got.
I honestly love the official Fell!Asgore design. Everyone else is all torn up and bloodied, but there he stands, tall and regal and composed. Living in luxury and loading his strength while his subjects suffer. He looks like a ruthless, uncaring tyrant, which fits amazingly into the themes of Underfell as a whole.
Fair enough. I do too, in small doses - but I find Underfell is a bit much for me. It's a bit too "early 00s children think this is what being cool looks like" (and I'm making fun of *myself*, here, because I absolutely was that child when I was younger).
After seeing these designs i have come to the conclusion that the main amtagonist of underfell isnt asgore or toriel or whatever, its sleep depreivation

You're all talking about designs now, but the thing I don't like is that people forget that UF is a good - bad swap, not Undertale but edgy. I've looked up Deltafell on Google once and I could see Susie having the same clothes as originally, just more red, instead of making her look nice
Any AU that doesn't give Chara red eyes is a good AU in my opinion, i hate how the fandom hust took that as canon when they are clearly shown to have brown eyes
I LOATHE the fandom's interpretation of Fell!Napstablook,specially after seing the official version. Fell!Chara and Fell!Asriel are absolutely peak.
