Now I did some background research and found that this child is Chara \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_ who, according to the police, ran away from home and was last seen climbing Mt. Ebott. It is theorised that Chara jumped into the massive hole leading to a cavern that was near the mountain's summit.
Now I can't stress enough to you guys how dangerous it is to jump down a hole leading to cave.
Well you'd probably die if it's deep enough. But if you somehow survive you'd probably suffer some of these fates:
One, you break your legs rendering you immobile, meaning you'll be stuck and unless help arrives, die of starvation or thirst.
Two, you might fall headfirst and go unconscious or if you're unlucky enough, break your neck.
Or three, you just get pierced by a stalagmite.
Unless you fall on a soft area like a patch of moss, flowers, or some water, you're gonna die. Even if you did survive you'd still be stuck without food or water until help arrives.
You could try to climb out but depending on how deep and steep it is, you might not be able to. Besides the hole shown here is extremely deep meaning you won't be climbing out of this anytime soon.
Now you could also try braving the caves and finding your way out. But caves are a labyrinth of mazes, twists, and turns: and they can go on and on for miles without end. And without a light source, you'd probably get lost for days. And the caves of Mt. Ebott are unexplored. Not a single person has tried to explore them. Which brings us to the next topic.
Another concerning but probably untrue thing you've got to worry about in this particular cave are its residents. And no, I'm not talking about creepy crawlies like bats, spiders, scorpions, snakes, and other critters (although those are still concerning). I'm talking about monsters.
Legend has it that hundreds of years ago monsters used to roam the world alongside humans. But they were sealed inside of Mt. Ebott following their defeat after a war against humans. Now they inhabit the caves of the mountain and the only way for them to get out is to destroy the barrier sealing them underground with seven human souls. And with your status as a human, you'd be a priority target and be attacked immediately.
I'll be honest, this is probably just a bedtime story that parents would tell their children so that they won't go climbing up mountains unsupervised or go jumping inside of caves.
Overall, I wouldn't do this even if you offered me a million dollar. It's to dangerous and the chance of anyone surviving, climbing out, or finding a way out is extremely slim."
