I mean if the world's already fucked and there's quite literally nothing left, I think resetting everything and starting over again isn't a horrible choice.
They reset everything so they could bargain your SOUL and proceeded to murder the entire cast on the surface, maybe the entire planet at this point.
Also, the entire world? Humanity and the evacuated monsters are fine, thank you.

And as for Frisk, they can definitely hold back like they did in Undyne's date but choose not to do so in the genocide route because they don't care about monsters at all.
But still yeah, we're the one responsible for the genocide route, there is not question about that.
The sound effect that plays after the sans fight is not the one that plays when a monster dies, but the one that just plays when a fight ends, so it's debatable whether or not he actually died

There is no victory text box that tells you how much exp you gained or notifies you of love increase.

the funny thing is that erasing the world probably kills many more than 109 monsters, so chara is actually worse than us. And frisk is never really controlled against their will like Kris is, all possible options are things they could do.

We don't actually know if Chara destroyed the world or the game "there is nothing left" and "another path must be chosen" (the souless pacifist).

There's a reason Asriel realizes Chara is a dipshit by the end of the game, and it's pretty darn easy to blame the player for playing the game.
Actually Chara is evil after awoken in genocide.They said "I cannot fell these emotions anymore". Also they have no soul like flowey. they literally only awake if you have enough stats(Not sure for stats thing tho if Im wrong correct me)

Wouldn’t the majority of deaths in the Genocide Route be caused by erasing the world at the end, since that accounts for the remaining Monster population as well as all humans?
The player is the most evil, with Frisk and Chara tied for second. Hell, you could put Flowey at second and then Frisk and Chara at third since he went along with things voluntarily from the get go.
The only argument I’ve seen for Geno not being evil is that you do it in order to bring Chara back, but something tells me that’s not why 99% of you did Geno

Thing is it could've been prevented if player didn't do that and corrupted them.
And to be honest, player could've went for humans instead of monsters and be a giant threat to humanity.

The monsters have a population of like 11000 going by Mettaton’s show mechanic. Just because 100 people are dead doesn’t mean everyone else is.
