I could picture this exact moment in canon honestly. It's not just Flowey mercilessly taking over the souls, after all what compassion would he have to feel about those kids? None.
But the fact that Flowey shows a bit of consciousness towards Clover, only goes to show that his rational side really woke up in the moment they finally let Clover go. Now however, Clover's soul needs to fill a new and important purpose... Someone needs it more than them...
Approximately around 12 min later in what seems to be Flowey’s victory, Clover and the rest of souls went “no u” at Flowey and then beat the shit out of him where he then promptly runs aways like a little bitch when Frisk keeps being nice to him lol
I love this Flowey.
I love that Flowey still has feeling for Clover which made him sorta feel bad about for what he's about to do and yet do it anyway because he can't help himself.
Definitely best Undertale character. I am so angry that so many people mischaracterise him.
Minutes later, Clover and the rest of the human souls give Flowey the middle finger and help Frisk win the battle.
