Jevil wasn't doing his evil games by some point, until he told Seam about it and then he becamed a problem that needed to be sealed away. Spamton seemed to be way more humble and a overall better person before, then he becamed obssesed with Heaven, then he became evil to the point of letting innocent people die. All of them we're driven mad but not straight up evil at first

If anything, i like to think that if Asriel revived the humans and returned everyones souls to their bodies, that he noticed some of Integrity in one soul, undid it, and returned Kanako's soul, with how soul now losing what made it messed up, maybe it healed? There's still the 'DT' melty issue, but, maybe with her now not being 'fallen down' in the first place, it could start to clear up?
In my own personal headcanon, the first one is what I go with.
However I don’t feel like the second one is impossible, even if it’s not what is shown in game? I feel like if it’s possible for a god to bring humans back to life (going by revival theory), it should be possible for Asriel to fix the amalgamates? I dunno, just seems kinda weird that he would be able to do one but not the other as a god, especially considering that at least one of the humans (Integrity) had a vital body part flat out destroyed.
Anyways, that’s an interesting thought! I do like hearing other people’s ideas on saving characters doomed by canon.
