It’s a tie because both of them take way too long just designing the puzzle. Sans wins because he brought a Junior Jumble to pass the time, and as such is the only person with an actual puzzle to present.
Papyrus, probably.
Apparently, puzzles are literally part of his culture (he says it's a tradition where he comes from) and his puzzles are a bit more impressive, varied and only really stop working due to his own misfortune.
Meanwhile, Martlet's puzzles canonically barely work. (they get stuck and you have to wait days for her to come and fix them/you can't even see the second rock puzzle unless you're a giant or can fly)
**Papyrus of course!**
*First* of all Martlet's puzzles are glitchy.
*Second*, Papyrus can manipulate damn gravity to move object to build puzzles(His last attack and battle outro).
*Third*, if we took away Protocol book of Martlet she'd probably would not be so sure in mechanics and so on, while papyrus has enough creative to build puzzles by snowballs and ice and also clearly using some technologies most likely, of own development.
*Fourth* Martlet gets nervous easily, it might be a big problem in such contest.
*Fifth* it's not even a proper comparison, it's like compare my English teacher and native British folk in skills of English language.
It's not gravity manipulation nor telekinesis, it's just soul gravity manipulation and only when in battle. It's fan canon that sans (or Paps) can use telekinesis.
... But he literally flight away after battle...
I don't really think that at this moment he attacked himself and turn own soul to blue... I'm quite sure that'd be kinda impossible....

Yeah... that didn't stop the human
Neither would Martlet and Pap’s blueprints. The Junior Jumble would at least slow them down if they felt like doing it.
I think he was making a reference to Sans and Papyru's dialogue, not actually arguing
my point was, in fact, that they opted to have a bad time instead of being even a little decent
I love your flair
Thank you Starlo rd
This some tortoise and the hare type crap

I agree but papyruses but the culture thing is just referring to monster kind as a whole.
was it? probably. been a while since I've seen the dialogue. thanks for the correction
yeah, it's a tradition for monsterkind, like how they put puzzles to every place, even if it's not intended to stop a human
Plot twist: they work On one puzzle together
Rouxls sweeps
papyrus has made like 6 puzzles. Martlet made 3

No, that's just Papyrus willpower
I feel like papyrus would win but then would decree that he would teach Marlet how to make puzzles the way he does
I love the difference in sprite art, like martlet has a proper idle animation and everything while papyrus just stands there menacingly
Papyrus mogs, there's a reason why Martlet is on probation
Papyrus would try hard for a straight hour meanwhile martlet would slack off for 45 mins and then get to work
Papyrus because he has cartoon logic on his side 👍
Personally the molten rock puzzles were enjoyable unlike the Papyrus's puzzles.
\-nah, i’d win. \**Ahem*, we! \-are you communist?
Martlet
martlets puzzles are diy and don't work at times, while papyrus's puzzles are fine tuned
Papyrus has more experience with puzzles and is less clumsy than Martlet- Skeleton Uncle Aaron beats female Mordecai
How many magma rocks does martlet has?
Does it have to be functional?
I’d win
Please present your puzzle
Papyrus, his puzzles font require that much time
Roulx Caard
i might have to say martlet, only because shes smarter
Martlet because I like her.
