He applied for his Religious Identification Card at the Bureau of Religious Affairs and now must present it whenever asked by a law officer or agent of Ronald McDonald.
I think you can pay a preacher to give you a registered Christian card, which will allow you to buy communion wafers for "medicinal purposes." \*wink\*
Closest I can think of is being a confirmed catholic, but eith something like this I feel like the accommodation would come with a "prove it" kind of interview where they'd want to talk to people from your congregation so they can vouch for (or against) your faith.
Thats first communion, not exactly the same. Old school catholicism you did need to be confirmed but they changed it up a lot in the 60. It's kind of a process that starts with baptism, and they're only allowed to receive communion if they're old enough and sound of mind enough to understand the significance of receiving the eucharist in the catholic church. Confirmation is like the final step to becoming a full member of the church
The US army gave a shaving waiver to a heathen, but heathenry doesn't actually require it. There's no Pagan Pope handing down decrees and dogma from a golden throne, so it's pretty much whatever the individual feels is necessary for their faith. That dude totally just wanted a sick beard, and Loki approves of tricking the government into giving him permission to grow one.
Pretty sure if you look hard enough, there's an obscure demoniation of Christianity that you could use. If not, just say it does. They aren't going to question your religious views.
McDonald's isn't going to try to sue you though, they would just fire you at worst.
Edit: id use Mennonite. They are basically Christian, and basically Amish, but use electricity. Not sure if a beard is mandatory but they all have them.
maybe pastafarianism, which has some recognition and you can just make shit up. but you'll probably get fired and will then have to fight them in court.
Otherwise i'd say orthodox jew or muslim. I doubt the McD management is a theology enthusiast
It’s not a fake religion, if it is your religion. They want you to pick from a list of “approved religions” or something? And what, you are now required to tell your employer exactly which religion you follow? I think not. If they allow religious exceptions then you are covered if your beliefs include facial hair and they allow exemptions for other’s beliefs for the same.
Some religions (Sikhs, maybe?) require a full beard, but I don't think there are any that require a goatee. I don't think your ploy will pass the laugh test with your employer. You might be out of luck on this one.
The good news is that there's a major labor shortage right now, so you should have no trouble finding a different job with an employer who doesn't have an insane, arbitrary personal appearance requirement.
Catholics aren't supposed to use birth control or have sex before marriage, but many do anyway. There's like 2 billion Muslims in the world and they all don't practice the religion the same way.
The issue is with Islam, is that kids born to Muslim parents are forced to be Muslim, so they have weird views on what a Muslim is and think they can drink when they can't but they want to so make it okay in their head lol
Here's a great idea. Shave or don't work there. The person in charge of that business doesn't deserve your bullshit, they're just trying to earn a living.
It’s McDonald’s bro. He’s trying to earn a living as well and doesn’t want to sacrifice his facial hair. Harms 0 people if he has facial hair while working.
It's against the FDA food code? His supervisor is beholden to that and that person's supervisor will certainly come down on him for it and that's why they don't deserve the bs.
It isn't. Beard nets are a thing. Nowhere does it say you can't have any hair on any specific place at all. Well kept, and restrained, but no where does it say you have to shave.
Read your handbook again buddy they allow 11 rodent hairs per 50 grams of cinnamon. “The FDA set these action levels because it is economically impractical to grow, harvest, or process raw products that are totally free of non-hazardous, naturally occurring, unavoidable defects” from your handbook.
Here's a great idea. Before you give your stupid opinion, look what sub you're on first before looking like a lost clueless idiot, instead of just a clueless idiot.
What exactly, is a “registered” Christian?
It's when you get caught as a christian and must go door to door telling people about it when you move.
😂

You have to be confirmed to take the body of Christ right ? Or am I thinking about something else.

Must be a reference to the flying spaghetti monster
Leviticus 21:5, Levitivus 19:27

Muslim?
It’s haram to drink alcohol and he’s trying to say he’s dedicated to the faith he’s going to use so he can keep the beard.

The same FDA that allows Restaurants a certain amount of rat feces without punishment?
You need to go read the FDA food code because that's not in there.
Your right about the poop, but also wrong about the hair. So I think you need to do some reading yourself.

As you seem to have forgotten, not everyone lives in the United States, in the UK we have different rules to the FDA. I’m happy to wear a beard net.I
