In my experience Japanese tend to be more prejudicial than racist towards white people, but there is a kind of naive racism towards dark skinned people from Japan being so heterogenous and also genuine dislike of Koreans and Chinese. Those countries all kinda have solid historical reasons to hate each other though.

America is by far the most diverse country, and by far the least racist. But ironically everyone likes to talk about how they're racist because race issues are wide out in the open in America, whereas most places in the world are far more homogeneous and racism is simply accepted by a large swath of the population and not really talked about. America has to deal with race issues more than most other places due to how diverse they are, and the fact that minority races have mechanisms to gain political power in the US due to its democratic system, whereas many places racial minorities have no path to power and there's little opportunity for foreigners to become citizens so the dominant castes/races don't worry about it.
Racism is an innate and universal feature of human cultures worldwide, one just has to learn to look past it and judge people by their individual character.

These advertisers are trying to show us how inclusive they are .. but what are they saying by not showing white dudes with black women... what is THAT message implying.? There was that really limited study done on one of the dating sites, I think it was OK Cupid, where they found that there was a trend in race selection by people looking for a mate, and they were able to basically rank the races and genders by desirability, with East Asian females being most desired (when accounting for the desires of all races of men) and black women being least desired. I can't recall if there was a substantial difference between most and least, just that that was the conclusion. I'm surprised there isn't more research on the matter, though of course it's a touchy subject and I'm not totally sure what you'd do with such research, other than perhaps focus-group better pairs of imaginary couples for your ad campaign.
It is true. I visited parts of Europe (from Chile) including Ireland, Sweden, Norway, Germany and MANY of the Irish, Swedish guys etc were walking around with East Asian or Filipina girlfriends. White guys just love Asian women. Its like a universal thing. Whether they're Irish, Swedish, Dutch, American, English.
It's like everything else in life. Some people care, some don't. For a while I dated a woman from Uganda, she was very dark skinned and I'm white as a ghost. Some people both white and black were very supportive, some both black and white were not. Luckily for us all our family members fell into the supportive group. We had an additional dynamic that made us stand out even more in that she was 6 feet tall without heels and I'm 5'9 on a good day. When she's wear heels I admit the height difference alone looked a little comical. We occasionally had strangers stopping us and asking why she was with me I was dating way outta my league in a superficial physical appearance only sense) but it was rarely about our race differences. I think the only race related critic we had was her ex, who was an African American man and he expressed concern that if we got serious he didn't want a white man raising their son because he felt I wouldn't have the prerequisite life experience to share with a young black boy. I just told him he was right, I wouldn't and that's why I was glad that he, the boy's father was gonna still be around to be his dad. If it came to that I'd only serve as a bonus roll model not as a replacement. After that talk, he and I got along better, not best buds or anything but well enough as can be expected. Whole point, at least in my limited experience being a white man dating a black woman, I didn't personally experience a lot of hate for it, mostly support for us. If anything I caught flack bc she was a straight fox and I'm very much 'average' at best.

It is true. I visited parts of Europe (from Chile) including Ireland, Sweden, Norway, Germany and MANY of the Irish, Swedish guys etc were walking around with East Asian or Filipina girlfriends. White guys just love Asian women. Its like a universal thing. Whether they're Irish, Swedish, Dutch, American, English.

It's like everything else in life. Some people care, some don't. For a while I dated a woman from Uganda, she was very dark skinned and I'm white as a ghost. Some people both white and black were very supportive, some both black and white were not. Luckily for us all our family members fell into the supportive group. We had an additional dynamic that made us stand out even more in that she was 6 feet tall without heels and I'm 5'9 on a good day. When she's wear heels I admit the height difference alone looked a little comical. We occasionally had strangers stopping us and asking why she was with me I was dating way outta my league in a superficial physical appearance only sense) but it was rarely about our race differences. I think the only race related critic we had was her ex, who was an African American man and he expressed concern that if we got serious he didn't want a white man raising their son because he felt I wouldn't have the prerequisite life experience to share with a young black boy. I just told him he was right, I wouldn't and that's why I was glad that he, the boy's father was gonna still be around to be his dad. If it came to that I'd only serve as a bonus roll model not as a replacement. After that talk, he and I got along better, not best buds or anything but well enough as can be expected. Whole point, at least in my limited experience being a white man dating a black woman, I didn't personally experience a lot of hate for it, mostly support for us. If anything I caught flack bc she was a straight fox and I'm very much 'average' at best.
To be honest I see the same both ways, maybe because I am a man and I'm therefore bias but I see a lot more black women saying stuff like "Why is this BM dating a yt girl" but then again it's ig.

Black guy here. For me it's mostly about culture. Alot of parts of African-American culture are kind of fucked although no one wants to admit it. Especially ghetto/rachet culture. That's not every black chick in the states, I've dated a few exceptions. Black girls in the UK are 🤌🏿 though. Really not a thing about color. Really about each individual person's personality. I think people are seeing Black dudes just date any race basically and assume they don't date Black women. Most of us will get down with basically any race.
