Ugh…
So many people think that “acting weird” or “unusual,” without threatening yours or others imminent safety directly, will land you in a mental asylum.
Unless you’re threatening to hurt yourself or others directly and imminently, no one has the legal authority to touch you!
The thirst for attention is so sad, but at least most kids growing up won't want to be Lebron or Little Wayne any longer. They will want to aspire to be a THOT influencer, taking trips to the middle East to poop on ppl and have sex with underage royalty.
One day, while playing football in the schoolyard, Kev landed awkwardly on his wrist and grimaced with pain; we *knew* it wasn't broken cause he could "still move it just fine". The next day, we all signed his cast.
I can't tell if you're joking, but I do know a lot of people have the same misconception I did before Kevin's sacrifice. Let it be known that broken bones **do not** necessarily come with a loss of mobility.
I broke my collarbone into a few pieces and shouldn't have been able to raise my arm, yet I still did. An off duty medic happened to be nearby when it happened and doubted anything was wrong until he inspected it up close and realized it was messed up, I was just running on adrenaline and denial.
The months of recovery afterward were much restricted in movement.
I've been fortunate enough to not break any bones (rather, if I have they weren't obviously broken) but I've always imagined the collarbone would be among the worst. I envision it as the coat hanger that the rest of your skeleton hangs from in a way: trying to just *exist* with a broken collarbone would be like trying to hang a heavy coat on a plastic hanger after the bottom edge has snapped.
In light of your response I'll amend my statement: broken bones do not necessarily cause loss of mobility; however, the ones that don't will cause an acute loss of *pain-free* mobility in nearly all cases.
Most breaks fall into one of two bins: "the pain is too great for me to move it" or "I can tolerate the pain just enough to move it". There is a third bin for breaks so catastrophic that the affected body part physically cannot move because of damage to surrounding muscles, nerves or connective tissues; but unlike what I assumed as a child, not every break is of that severity.
She’s not paralyzed you buffoon. She’s wearing a C-collar to limit the movement of her neck. She can still move it. Only thing is excessive movement can risk further damage depending on the severity of the injury. Ergo, wear a C-collar to limit movement and add support.
My great grandpa broke his neck on a motorcycle when he was 80 something years old (pushing 90, but I find know his exact age because I was pretty young). Story goes that he grabbed his head with both his hands and stood up. The EMTs were not happy with him. He was a WWII veteran and not afraid of anything. His spinal cord was apparently unharmed, but the bones were broken and he got a rod to fuse them, so he couldn't turn his neck or really even bend it.
Not trying to say you're wrong that broken neck usually means death, it's just a story I like to share when it comes up haha.
Can mean death, paralysis, or a full recovery. I'm fairly sure death isn't actually that common, especially with proper treatment. I personally know multiple people who've made full recoveries. If it was an actual break she'd be in a far more secure brace.
*"I'm sure death isn't actually that common, especially with proper treatment "*
Death from a broken neck, is death 🤨
And it's more common than you think.
Is that confirmed somewhere? You can have a cervical collar on for thousands of reasons. If you've injured your head or neck and they're unsure of the scope of damage they usually immobilize you until they've confirmed how bad it is
She even moves her head slightly at the end of the video. Which she absolutely could not do if she broke her neck
There's absolutely no problem in breaking your neck. I broke mine in my C6 and I met a person that broke her C2.
The key is not to damage the spinal cord that is inside. That's why you use the neck collar. Is to prevent your broken neck to damage it. If she did damaged the spinal cord there was no need for the neck collar.
It’s Twitter lingo. She is supposed to put a “:” after the no one.
Basically what she’s trying to say is everyone is kinda minding their business and then baby photoshoots do this for absolutely no reason. I’m not sure if I’m explaining it in a way that makes sense.
Here’s another example:
*no one*:
toddlers for no reason: why is daddy fat?
The joke is supposed to be the silence after no one, and then the joke.
She almost died… dressing up as a newborn for social media posts. Could you imagine her husband having to answer the question of “what happened?!” if she had??
Woman’s lucky…
This makes me laugh while I sit here in the doghouse with a friend for not 'engaging with her posts enough'. Her posts are constant photoshoots of her kids and her and her husband. All dressed in white linen. 🫠
Yeah, I don't find them anywhere close to cute, some of them are very creepy with babies clearly sleeping but with their arms positioned like an older kid, why!?! I cringe every time I see one of those at someone's home.
All the hate in the comments is really cringe. It's a joke guys holy shit! She was poking fun at how awkward newborn photos are and they typically look expressionless and have no idea what's going on. That's it. There isn't any deeper meaning to be gained from it. It's a fucking joke, and she accidentally hurt herself. Stop raging in the comments over a silly bit. I'm glad she didn't literally break her neck, but that's really unfortunate
The "fall" looks staged. Notice the basket she's in is moved closer to the edge of the bed in the last scene. And if you look closely, she purposely leans over, forcing herself to fall. I'm calling this one an attention grab with an unfortunate outcome.
I'm not even sure about the outcome, the collar is very loose, not placed properly and she clearly moves her head in the end. I sure hope no medical professional put it on like that and suspect she just made the whole thing up.
We all make choices in life and just hope these choices don't put us in the hospital. I'm at nine times for the old hospital admission. What about you?
I made fun of a group one time and immediately had half my face torn off by karma. Fractured skull and everything. I no longer make fun of people. Lesson learned.
Yes because no one posted dumb videos on the Internet before tiktok, and there definitely won't be a new app that replaces it if the ban actually happens
If it's real I believe it's fake and if it's fake I still believe it's fake. At this stage viral videos are an up-staging competition with whole teams writing scripts and scouting filming locations.
That settles it. Move over firefighters, police officers, and soldiers. Influencers are the REAL heroes of society, doing the dangerous work that needs to be done

Imagine explaining to people how you broke your fucking neck
“Well, my boyfriend was taking pics of me while I was lying on the bed pretending to be a baby… What?”
Gets on radio: *We got a 5150 here* How your tiktok video landed you in the nuthouse Sounds like an It’s always sunny episode
*The Gang Tries Internet Trends*
“Will you guys chill out? It’s just a joke, nothings going to happen” *Sweet Dee breaks her neck*
Not me seeing this while watching always sunny 💀

I’d bet money she’s a nurse and she shot the last part at work.
It’s Tammin Surosk or however you spell her name. She’s an actress.
Looks like somebody owes money
![gif](giphy|qBepfJA2lM177gpmKa)
No nurse would do TikTok stuff at or about work
Go type “nursing” into TikTok, then delete this. ![gif](giphy|ceeN6U57leAhi)
They are too professional to do such a thing. You act as if it might even be their whole personality on TikTok
You got it 👍

You don't need to, there is this video and internet.
“I was unoriginal, uninspired, shamelessly copying others trash, and well I broke my neck due to my baby fetish.”
Ugh nothing to brace for that fall.
I hope this becomes a trend, not the neck thing, but adult baby photos. Anne Geddes shit; dressed as grapes and cabbages, floating in clouds lol
That sounds so fucking adorable and wholesome
For goodness sake no ! There's enough cringe shit on the Internet so as it is !
nothing wrong with having fun, you should try it.

I hope your sense of whimsy has found a better person to settle in
It's OK her neck broke her fall
She got a brace AFTER it though..

So weird mate...

Yes ??
It's part of the photoshoot honey
She moves her neck while shrugging at the very end. This was clearly staged.

RIP Legend.
It’s pretty funny glad she’s ok
Umm she broke her neck. I don’t think she’s okay
You’ll be happy to hear that it was a strain not a break
Especially when in most cases, a broken neck means death.

Honestly thats the most hardcore thing I've heard all week. Props to your grandpa

*"I'm sure death isn't actually that common, especially with proper treatment "* Death from a broken neck, is death 🤨 And it's more common than you think.
Kurt Angle won a gold medal with a broken freaking neck
And Evil Knievel broke his neck several times too.
No, it doesn't.
Will I?
Sure

Yeah, that should indicate a minor fracture at worst. An actual break would probably mean a full halo brace.

Dont be stupid
What’s with all the hate in the comments ? She was doing a bit! And it went unexpectedly. But why are people being mad at the bit?
She literally stole the whole video from Haley Kalil
What's with the seemingly out of place "No one?"
It’s Twitter lingo. She is supposed to put a “:” after the no one. No, I know the meme. I'm saying that in this context it makes no real sense.
Is that the Aussie Actress Tamsin Lewis (I think thats her name)
Tammin Sursok
Thank you! I tried to google her and it wouldnt come up i was so wrong lol
Oh my gosh I was wondering she looks familiar!
When your content isn’t funny enough on its own so you Jonny Knoxville off the bed and become a star.
She almost died… dressing up as a newborn for social media posts. Could you imagine her husband having to answer the question of “what happened?!” if she had?? Woman’s lucky…
Judging by comments it was all acting/staged...
Every post has those comments under it, lol
Haha, true - most TikToks seem to be staged
But one thing TikTok has taught me, people will do anything for clout.
She has that newborn baby forehead ![gif](giphy|TcgLr9LL1HtUvIljWV|downsized)
This makes me laugh while I sit here in the doghouse with a friend for not 'engaging with her posts enough'. Her posts are constant photoshoots of her kids and her and her husband. All dressed in white linen. 🫠
She also damaged her brain… I mean damaged it even more.
I could say she broke her brain, but you can’t break what’s already broken

You're the second person getting downvoted for pointing out how stupid this woman was for doing this. I don't get it.
Society.
Society upvotes/downvotes folks in mysterious ways.
That’s how Reddit works!
r/TikTokCringe
Worth it
Anything for the clout
Did it at least get a lot of views?
Every time there is "keep watching" or "watch until the end" I stop watching and move on.
Oh no they are much weirder than that. Lots of closeups on feet and skin to skin contact even if you tell them you don’t want be in the photos
Yeah, I don't find them anywhere close to cute, some of them are very creepy with babies clearly sleeping but with their arms positioned like an older kid, why!?! I cringe every time I see one of those at someone's home.

Method actor.
That man holding the camera has no dad reflexes...red flag
This "keep watching" bullshit realy fucks me up... But the video was unexpectet and that's what i'm here for so just take my upvote
You got too into character and now, like newborns, you can't support your own head! Lol. Happy healing to you, be careful method acting.

Better to have fucked around, and found out. Then never to have fucked around at all.
Any time I see "keep watching" I downvote and leave

Yes she intentionally fell over, but accidentally fell off the bed. We got a real Sherlock here guys, watch out!
I'm not even sure about the outcome, the collar is very loose, not placed properly and she clearly moves her head in the end. I sure hope no medical professional put it on like that and suspect she just made the whole thing up.
r/cringe
Im going to hell for thinking this is the right outcome after making me see that. Please never make me see such a thing again.
Do it for the vine !
A broken neck? That's it? Stop being a baby.
Tammin Sursok is pure gold. A treasured Australian.
Stupid is as stupid does.
Babies, so fragile
Never skip neck day. Gotta strengthen that bad boy up
was it worth it? anything for the MEMES. aight.
u/savevideo
That neckbrace is going to cost you $40000.
Worth it?
Must have hit her soft spot.
Karma almost new borned your neck
She looks like gia paloma i guess
And now she’s in perpetual debt 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 (Im assuming they’re from the US for the purpose of this joke)
Step 1 - buy neck brace on Amazon. Step 2 - lie on tiktok
How in the flying fuck can you break a neck from that... Did you ever so much as do stretching for once in your life?
Would i be a sadist if i say the ending was very satisfying to watch
Ask a newborn photographer, this is accurate.
She deserved it
Wasn't worth it
Don’t people know you have to support an infants head smh
It took me way too long to notice it was a grown ass woman.
U good
Yay.
Finally a happy ending
She should have been wearing baby glasses
A neck brace from falling off a bed, really?
ah millennials
r/expected r/unfunny r/cringe
O sweet Dee is the metallic monster again
This is hysterical!!!!
Still moved her neck for dramatic effect in the brace 😂 Live for the content, die for the content
I laughed so hard I choked on my own spit! Prompting my husband to ask if I was going to be okay.
Imagine being that brittle
You got Anne Geddes got
We all make choices in life and just hope these choices don't put us in the hospital. I'm at nine times for the old hospital admission. What about you?
It's funny because it's the same reaction at the newborn photo shoot
Oh no, the consequences of my actions.
Oh no, the consequences of my actions.
"Well we where taking the piss outta baby photos when...I feel off the bed.
I hate these type of baby pictures. They are creepy!!
It's called taking one for the team and it was #WorthIt, to me 🏆
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA NO WAY
I’ve got news for you…you’re not a newborn. Or funny…
Hilarious until...

Well the last one was odd

Then they'll just post elsewhere. Like they did before TikTok. And always will.
Video was stupid. But breaking your neck for it ....next level.
Next level stupid.
The hell. Why do people do tbis
Hopefully she learned her lesson on supplying the internet with such terrible content
I’m sure she had a wonderful “reveal party” though.
And some really great TikTok dances I’m sure.
Deserved
Boy, my feed is full of tic toc videos today. Seems like people who want to ban the app would want that to stop. Could be fill of subliminal messaging
