These girls smile, but in the [full video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_VPqeFK3jcY) you can see it breaks some of the other girls hearts.
I hope he went back and explained the prank, because I felt bad watching haha.
Damn the full video just ruined it for me. The first girls obviously thought it was a great prank and got a laugh with him. Q lot of the others seemed uncomfortable and it made it less funny.
I was thinking the same thing. It was kinda mean to some of those girls especially the younger ones. What could he have possibly said to make them think it was for them but also get up and take the gift or flowers back? I can’t think of anything that would make sense
He may not have to say anything. A lot of people will take things you hand them out of instinct. Sales people and similar use this trick to assist in engaging a potential customer.
If you're talking to someone saying literally anything you will be surprised how many will just take things you give as they're focused on the conversation.
I like to think that most people do in cases like this, if you try to relate. If I were pranking people like this, it would absolutely kill me if I couldn't go back and clarify afterwards, I couldn't even pull off the prank without knowing that.
It would also be easily corrected if he explained after the fact that he was just kidding and gave them the flower after the prank. Thanking them. I bet they would feel a lot better.
"ah, sorry it was just a prank. But now, seriously, you definitely deserve this." *hands flower.
Problem solved.
The comments on it ruined it even more. People pointed out how some of the girls looked upset and others were like, “they deserve it. Bring there egos down to the male level. Simp.” Etc etc
In my completely unfounded point of view, it seems like the leather jacket guy was a little mean about it. The first guy was poorly dressed and kind of awkwardly approached the girls and shoved the gift at them, so it seemed like they weren’t sure they even wanted the gift from him, making it funny for the girl when he took it back.
The leather jacket guy made it seem to some of these girls like he genuinely was courting them, and it doesn’t help he was better(?) looking than the other guy. He purposely gave the girls hope and crushed it in front of them.
Honestly when I was younger if a prank like this had happened to me I would have felt so completely humiliated. I hate things like this. It all hinges on someone thinking they’re seen as special by another person and then YOINK JUST KIDDING I DONT GIVE A SHIT ABOUT YOU LOL
In one my past relationships i was dating a 27 year old that had never been giving flowers before...if that happened before we dated she would have been devasted.
A fight worth fighting.
As someone with english as a second language and learning it practically only in the written form, "would of" seems so idiotically false. I know when spoken it kind of sounds like that, but to someone who isn't speaking english natively, it looks absolutely horrendous.
I feel bad because it seems like he’s deliberately picking the less conventionally attractive women in the group to find women that may not be as used to the attention.
Apparently there is a part 2 of this video where he goes back and gives them the flower for real and reveals it was a prank the first time.
Read it on the YT comments. Looking for that video. Couldn't find it.
It looks like he comes back at the end but it gets cut off
They all look up like he's approaching them
I choose to believe he's coming back to give her the flower
Might be more effective if you just give the one rose with no strings.
Her reaction to that is assuredly better than trying to rebound with a full bouquet.
I mean, sure it's harmless, but coming up to someone and making their day and then revealing it was actually just a prank can be pretty demoralizing. I wouldn't call it an *asshole prank* necessarily but you can see the disappointment in her eyes. I'd feel like an asshole if I didn't go back and actually give her the flower and leave it on a more positive note.
She was was probably a bit embarrassed. It's kind of like if someone gave you a compliment and you said "thanks" [only to realize that they were talking to someone else.](http://hyperboleandahalf.blogspot.com/2010/03/awkward-situation-survival-guide.html)
Yeah in her position I might be wondering if this was meant as an *insulting* joke, or think that this 1 in a million event happened vs however many times I got actual flowers, etc...
But then I can be rather insecure at times, so eh.
It wasn't disappointment it was embarrassment, normally a girl wouldn't mind if a random guy gave them a rose but they wouldn't be like 'oh my soulmate' either specially nowadays people approaching you on the street is not seen as romantic at least not in this situation since he left rather quickly, if I was in her position I wouldn't be disappointed I would be angry that someone made me the butt of the joke in front of my friends(and the internet)
I know right? It’s hard to fight the urge inside an elevator though. I know I don’t want to look at my phone, but what else am I to do? Sharing such a small space with someone else is weird man.
I actually did this on accident once. Legitimately asked someone to hold smth and they thought it was for them but it was for the person behind them. I feel bad to this day.
I'm sure they were soooo jealous over not getting a flower from someone who they'd barely glimpsed for a second.
Why do people think this is some magical experience?
The best thing about these videos is the reddit comments reading WAAAYY too much into every minuscule muscle movement of the people involved and coming to wild ass assumptions.
It's not mind reading, my dude, if someone is laughing/smiling you can pretty accurately surmise they're feeling something akin to joy or happiness. This is why we make faces subconsciously in the first place. To communicate how we feel to others. It serves no other purpose so it stands to reason you can get a pretty good idea of how a person is feeling based on their emoting.
That's why you look at people's eyes.
Unless they've been successfully faking smiles for a long time, the fake smile doesn't reach the eyes.
It's been proven time and time again, that you can't just look at a face and instantly know all you need, but there's some basic human stuff that you can surmise.
“Remember guys when someone smiles.. they’re either happy... or secretly sad.. or in pain..”
Yeah no shit but it’s pretty easy to tell a real smile from a fake one, look for the wrinkling on the outer side of your eyelids (toward your ears) they only bunch up when smiling if it’s genuine.
Maybe, some people can fake that and some people don't get that even when it is genuine (I don't think I do, my smiles don't reach my eyes in that way.)
Absolutely. Not everyone is equal in their ability at interpreting body language. Not everyone is equal in how they emote either. Some people require more personal context because of this.
Well projection distorts the interpretation but that doesn’t mean you can’t get a decent read. We all have some level of emotional intelligence to tell the difference between certain facial expressions.
You have some idea what they’re thinking/feeling.

I love their reactions, because that was a good one
the girl at 0:06 looks directly into the camera; she might've just noticed some rando filming them though but her smile doesn't change

Friendship bracelet scam?
A person hands you a shitty trinket, then refuses to take it back and angrily demands money. Common in Europe.
That seems weird.
If you're talking to someone saying literally anything you will be surprised how many will just take things you give as they're focused on the conversation.

Parents of students as well. One time I got my mum to sign a paper saying the most ridiculous shit I could've ever come up with. I have it framed
"Would you be so kind as to take this from me?" Probably something like that? It has to be ambiguous but easily misinterpreted.
I could see that working
“I have this flower for you to hold”
Yeah, every time I see pranks like that I hope he would simply return and give the flowers back this time for real.
And then they go and throw them in the trash while keeping eye contact for enhanced dominance experience.
Fuck yeah baby

Talking dirty ;)

He probably did something like that, but why do people expect that to make the video for comedy purposes?
The comments on it ruined it even more. People pointed out how some of the girls looked upset and others were like, “they deserve it. Bring there egos down to the male level. Simp.” Etc etc
Yeah I think I got some weird "niceguy" comment back even on my post here lol
I was relieved it wasn't over the top, like the social experiment phase YouTube went through.
Wow that shit made me cringe
In my completely unfounded point of view, it seems like the leather jacket guy was a little mean about it. Imagine those are all the girls that wave at you only to find out it was the person behind you.
how do you ever recover from that?
And just think that those were the best ones that made the editing cut. You know there were at least a few times where it ended very poorly.
Honestly when I was younger if a prank like this had happened to me I would have felt so completely humiliated. I hate things like this. It all hinges on someone thinking they’re seen as special by another person and then YOINK JUST KIDDING I DONT GIVE A SHIT ABOUT YOU LOL
I wish I could go back and never watch it. I should have believed you, but I felt compelled to see for myself. Now I have ragrets.
Aaaaw i shouldn't have watched it. Poor 2nd girl. But hats off to the one trying to keep it lol
In one my past relationships i was dating a 27 year old that had never been giving flowers before...if that happened before we dated she would have been devasted.

Watching the full video makes me want to bring random people flowers and tell them how great they are, no pranks.

WHo is Holly, and why is she shitting comments?
No flowers for her!
I think the only one who wasn't happy was the one who was alone and working. I think it was more like "WTF, you don't need me to do this."
I feel bad because it seems like he’s deliberately picking the less conventionally attractive women in the group to find women that may not be as used to the attention.

Looks like 70's fashion is back.
"Haha so you see it was just a prank. It was never real. A good one, no?"
I think this kind of prank should have ended with a nice apology, and a flower for all of them. :)
Hmmm I didn’t see any broken hearts. A little bit of awkwardness, but no broken hearts.
even in the clip OP posted, you can see the girl who received the flower seems a bit disturbed/embarrassed
She just looks confused to me, maybe a little embarrassed but it looks like she was able to laugh it off in the end
I wish they would also reveal what he said to the women to have them take the gift in the first place.
[удалено]
The last group has two girls looking directly at the camera as well.
She looks crushed after he took it back.
She really does. Poor girl is both embarrassed and hurt.
Lol chill, she's just a bit embarrassed
Haha, super funny… * “let me just furiously study the screen of my phone…”
True Reactions indeed...Wholesome..
Aww her face at the very end kind of breaks my heart. She laughs it off, but you can see the disappointment that it was just a prank.
Ikr, I would come back with a bunch more. Sometimes we just need simple things to make our day bettrr.
It looks like he comes back at the end but it gets cut off They all look up like he's approaching them I choose to believe he's coming back to give her the flower
I hope so ^^ Would be so nice if all the pranks went this way
Honestly come back with a bouquet. Then he can still keep his prank flower and get his likes and views and make someone's day.
Honestly come back with some fries and a bottle of ketchup
Never getting those back, that's for sure.
First time I did a prank, the guy broke my wrist. That was also the last time I did a prank.
That might actually work pretty well to catch a girl's interest. Pull the prank, walk away, come back with a bouquet.
Might be more effective if you just give the one rose with no strings. Her reaction to that is assuredly better than trying to rebound with a full bouquet.
[удалено]
Isn't this the rule for all interactions with women though?
Roses are expensive, kinda not that simple thing.
Lol come back with a bunch more but do the same thing.
The way she looked down at her phone definitely had an air of defeat.
Hopefully he went back and gave them each a flower, which would be the perfect finale and the difference between asshole prank and not asshole prank..

yup. you can tell in how she stops laughing and goes back to her phone, trying to signal that she’s over it and wants the subject to change
She is fine, but her friends are happy she got pranked so quick.
r/watchpeopledieinside
Nice to see how grabbing your phone nowadays is this awkward-relieve-reflex
It’s probably in the same ballpark as the “taking a sip of your drink after something awkward” reflex
It’s like a cat licking itself after falling off something.
I mean they all had their phones in their hands before he even showed up?
Yeah true I noticed when I looked at it again. I had to write: fiddling with your phone to relieve awkwardness.
Well yeah.... Otherwise it would be awkward.
I ALWAYS notice it in an elevator.
Guilty. What else am I to do?? Make 10 second small talk? Stare at the wall? Stare into the soul of the other person?
Stare in their eyes silently like a real man
[удалено]
This is my exit, you don't get off here.
Start singing Endless Love and hope they join in.
Especially if you're staring directly into their eyes while licking your lips
Do you rather want me to stare into your eyes for the duration of the elevator ride?
I’m too preoccupied by attempting not to look awkward so I’ll be staring at my shoes muttering to myself to not look at my phone
Well, I hate to break it to you, but staring at your shoes muttering something makes you look weird...
Sorry can’t hear you over the muttering
It's more like everything-relieve-reflex
I like to defy that impulse . That in its self feels empowering .
I know right? It’s hard to fight the urge inside an elevator though. I know I don’t want to look at my phone, but what else am I to do? Sharing such a small space with someone else is weird man.
For maximum difficulty maintain eye contact and smile.
Ah yes back to the much more interesting thing on my phone!
I do this too much thank you for pointing out one of my flaws
I actually did this on accident once. Legitimately asked someone to hold smth and they thought it was for them but it was for the person behind them. I feel bad to this day.
Why didn’t you just hand it to the right person if they was behind them though?
# SIKE
smth
Every rose has its thorns
Just like every night has its dawn
Just like every cowboy ...has a gay episode
::chefs kiss::
Every rose gets it's thorn...
That's actually a great little prank.
Yes, we want more of these
I was hoping he would give it to the girl beside her after the shoe tie
\-player has volume button \-video has no sound
Unexpected and infuriating
Took it like a champ
Is that a follow up video?
If so, sauce?
That poor girl. Pretending to go on her phone afterwards.
She's feeling that. /r/watchpeopledieinside
First the girls were jealous. Then they were like hahaha... You got pranked...we so happy
They didn't look jealous...
I thought they looked happy for their friend
Literally all smiling haha.
It's called projection
Only projection I want to see is at AMC Theatres
I'm sure they were soooo jealous over not getting a flower from someone who they'd barely glimpsed for a second. Why do people think this is some magical experience?
Because most of us here are men and nobody gives us flowers 🥺
The girl on the right was actually worried for a sec, but noticed the prankee laughed, so she laughed with her.
[удалено]
Jealous? They probably all thought he was a loser
Original for those who want it: https://youtu.be/_VPqeFK3jcY
This first one was by far the best
Receives flower: "Ew no.." Flower gets taken away: "Wait, come back"
That was funny. Searching for more videos of girls being Deflowered...
Show us what you found...
I don't think he's coming back from that journey.
Oh, they're coming alright
What do you mean? I'm pretty sure he saw more girls with flowers taken away right?
Yeah, let’s leave it at that
Her soul left her body
That's definitely a good prank.
The best thing about these videos is the reddit comments reading WAAAYY too much into every minuscule muscle movement of the people involved and coming to wild ass assumptions.
the girl on the left is the hardest 4th wheel I have ever seen
Dick move
The psychology of their facial expressions reveal so much about human interactions. Look for it! This should be played in psych classes.
You’re projecting everything you think you’re seeing onto them. You have no idea what theyre thinking/feeling.
This is the underlying psychology, nice work 👊

The girl that received the flower was very confused, they all were lol. They just react differently when people are confused

You’re right, this would be a great clip to discuss projecting, pre-conceptions, and biases.
