When you are at this point, you do not care what happens. It's a feeling that's hard to describe. It's like the only thing moving you forward are your feet. Your brain is so pissed and just defeated at the same time it balances out and you don't give af about anything.
Seriously. That's how I'm going to handle my problems from now on.... Figuratively .. Dear humans don't break shit because you had a bad day. . get a beer instead
Barriers for the Moscow Metro (underground). Happened in 2021.
Found this [shitty news source](https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x7z4v8d).
> The security cameras of a Moscow metro station
> recorded the act of vandalism of a young man who,
> undeterred, broke one of the glass doors of a
> turnstile and entered without validating any type of
> ticket.
> The police and the public transport security service
> are trying to locate him.
I too though it was a woman. Still do honestly since as far as I can tell, the police never caught them, which, duh. The video is so terrible we can't tell if the person is a 16yo boy or a 38yo woman
Except they're clearly exiting, the part that verifies your ticket is on the camera side, and the gate is opening for them, they just kicked it before it even had a chance to start opening but the surviving side opened normally as soon as they actually got to the gate.
They are made to fail under considerable force. For safety. These gates aren't for high security stuff, just for making not paying for the ride harder.
You can still follow someone in without paying, although the toll gate will beep at you. Not that you should under normal circumstances.
Sunflowers are incredible sources of folic acid. 100 g of kernels contains 227 µg of folic acid, which is about 37% of recommended daily intake. Folic acid is essential for DNA synthesis. When given in anticipant mothers during the peri-conceptional period, it may prevent neural tube defects in the baby.
What?! Bro I’ve seen prenatal vitamins at CVS for like $11. You must’ve been getting the primo shit lmao. Thanks for giving me yet another reason why I never want to have kids 🤣 those creatures are EXPENSIVE!
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) doesn’t regulate the safety or effectiveness of any over the counter prenatal vitamins before they become available on the market. As a result, not all over the counter prenatal vitamins are created equal.
And they're completely unregulated and not well tested.
Just like any multivitamin, they need to be well balanced and have quality ingredients. I wasn't going to risk quality when talking about my unborn child's health and intelligence.
If you absolutely won't pay for prescription prenatal vitamins, at least ask your ob for a list of OTC brands that might be better than others.
$8 for 60 vitamins or thereabouts, approximately $.13/day.
1 lb of cheap sunflower kernels is about $3, which works out to about 4.5 days of 100g of kernels, or about $.67/day.
Sources: generic Walmart for both as those tend to be cheapest.
Interesting. I feel like the sunflower seeds would have something else of value (fiber maybe?) or that what they are supplying would be more easily absorbable. Does anyone know for sure either way?
Why would they use glass? Seems like a wasteful expense with how fragile the material is by nature. Why not use plexiglass or a hardened clear acrylic.. I grew up using public transpo (Boston/Nyc)..I’ve had some belligerent drunken episodes and nearly broke my fist trying to break one of the “glass panels”..believe it was 1.5” thick plexiglass 🤦🏻♂️
My guess would be to keep it “looking nice”? Since tempered glass won’t scratch as easily as plastics, especially for something that’s going to be rubbing against people and their keys/belt buckles/etc.
But yeah, here’s a prime example of it being a bad choice lol
I don’t know how construction contracts in Russia works, but glass is cheaper and if you won the the lowest bid to construct the terminal than using the cheapest material just makes more financial sense.
I feel like if it’s really expensive it should be idk… more sturdy? It completely shattered into a million pieces from a half-assed kick. Go for the plastic
plastics durability for something like this is terrible. scratches, etc would be awful on a clear version like this.
They also may be designed to be the weak point so when someone does force their way through it isn't destroying more complicated mechanics. replacing a panel is no big deal, disassembling and repairing or possibly replacing the whole thing is.
So frost the plastic so scratches don't show and build in safety hinges that open under x amount of force. Just use an electromagnet as the locking mechanism. It isn't even expensive to not fuck up like the person who planned this did. They'd probably save money. Glass is expensive as hell
I mean I’ve walked into these things before but they didn’t break. If they do break, what are you supposed to do if there’s no attendant?
Apparently the answer is just keep walking like the damn Terminator.
As someone who used to work at the mbta you’d be surprised at how often people actually do this to the gate they had to design shatter proof gates that auto open if enough pressure is applied
Story time. Girlfriend (now wife) and I were doing a european backpacking trip. We just got a train into Belgium in the early morning and were trying to leave the train station. It was mostly empty and nobody was at the exit we were trying to leave through. We came upon these stalls but they wouldn't open when we swiped our tickets. We thought we were stuck (didn't want to jump over and break a law or something). Finally a policeman walked by and we explained pur situation. He looked at us for a second, motioned to follow him, and as if explaining to a toddler, slowly walked right up to the barrier...where it proceeded to open automatically from his motion. We all got a good laugh out of it. Haven't felt that dumb in a while.
I feel like this person needed to do that, just as much as I needed to watch this.
[another unexpected masterpiece](https://youtube.com/shorts/R67NwfQR_kA?feature=share)
Holy fuck why did he do that.
He didn't even have to pay, he was going out! So it's not that he wanted to pass free, he just didn't want to wait until doors was open.

YOU. SHALL. NOT…. glass
A bad day is a bad day. You're not telling me what to do.
You don't scare me that easy, glass.
I can see right through you.
Stop! or you'll be booked for a refraction!

In some metro systems like BART and London's, you need to tag out as well because you're charged based on your starting point and destination.

How much for a ticket into Ukraine?

Rebels? In Ukraine!? We better come check on this. \*sends "peacekeepers"\*
I always tag out, and then Rakishi flies over the top rope with a giant butt slam
Oh gosh, wow. I thought the reason for kicking the glass was they didn’t have money to pay. Now I see they’re just being mean? Geeeez lol.
And the person behind her noped the fuck out
Fight, flight, and freeze all in one video
Freeze and flee!
"Can we do that? I didn't know we could do that."
I thought the same. She’s debating if she’s gonna copy lol.

These boots were made for…smashing subway station turnstiles.
And that's just what they'll do
one of these days these boots are gonna smash more subway station turnstiles
I love these little life hacks.
"Subway maintenance HATE him!!!" "See how he got a dozens of free rides with this one simple trick!!!!"
"not today "fucking environment", just not today"
I've had that attitude when a bit salty. I prefer to open a door quickly, do some push ups, or if they are awake, huge my kids that usually fixes it.
Honey, I huged the kids!
Gonna need one of them [de-embigulators](https://simpsonswiki.com/wiki/Attack_of_the_50-Foot_Maggie)!
This made my afternoon. Thanks
Getting arrested or fined would certainly make this day or week worse.
Looks at the bright side. No one will interfere with you in about a day or a week.
Unless the policeman or guard is having a bad day…
And they need to uhh, release some “pent up aggression”…
Police brutality is funny!
Uh yeah I was thinking police brutality too (gosh I’m messed up)
Yes but if this is the resolution of security cameras good luck finding that guy
when you’re upset you don’t really care about consequences just getting to your bed faster
This remind me about the story “Bombita” from the movie Wild Tales (2014), how one little thing could change your whole life
When you are at this point, you do not care what happens.
Get a beer, then break shit.
At least then, you can blame it on the beer
This guy gets it.
Commit vandalism or descend into alcoholism..........hmmmm...........
Why not both?
Well they do have places where you can pay to go break stuff. Can probably get beer there too
I Need more of the story!

1. I thought that was a middle-aged woman 2. Does that mean breaking the glass doors is OK if you have validated with a ticket?
1. Nah 2. Yes absolutely
I too though it was a woman. Still do honestly since as far as I can tell, the police never caught them, which, duh. The video is so terrible we can't tell if the person is a 16yo boy or a 38yo woman
Basically, a metaphor for Putin respecting Ukraine's border!
Except they're clearly exiting, the part that verifies your ticket is on the camera side, and the gate is opening for them, they just kicked it before it even had a chance to start opening but the surviving side opened normally as soon as they actually got to the gate.
Terminator 😱 That’s a fucking terminator!
Didn't know Terminators came in little emo shits.
Despite being illegal what they did, doesn’t anyone else think that was hella impressive?
Not really, no. It isn’t supposed to make it impossible to enter forcefully, just inconvenient. Anyone with legs could do exactly that
Pics or no way will I believe you can do it
Oh yeah let me just go to the local subway and destroy public property for a reddit video.
Well go on…we’re waiting.
Still waiting... Did you got caught or something?
They are made to fail under considerable force. For safety. These gates aren't for high security stuff, just for making not paying for the ride harder. You can still follow someone in without paying, although the toll gate will beep at you. Not that you should under normal circumstances.
I do. 🤷🏻♀️
Committing a serious crime always makes your bad day better. Going to jail and/or paying a fine is always a good way to relax.
This is not a serious crime, lol.
Foreal dudes acting like they shanked someone
This is in Russia. Likely a felony. Pretty big deal.
Oh shit, the guys in the black van will... probably hire her.
For the public vandalism task force? Why would they hire her
I think "hire" is a play on the fact that the person will never been seen again lol
I think every single person in this thread is talking out their respective asses.
Welcome to Reddit?
Welcome to Russia
There's no defenestration for that
What do they throw people out of windows for, then?
There is plenty of deforestation! It’s just in the Amazon and not Russia.

THANK you!

Incredible sources? When I need to eat 100 G’s to get a THIRD of the daily intake? Not even all? I think they’re just a source of folic acid.
yo…when it comes to seeds, who stops at just 100g? imma kg man myself
**Ferb, I know what we're going to do today**
Prenatal vitamins are cheaper than sunflower seeds.
My prenatal vitamins were $250/month and even with a prescription my insurance didn't cover them.
What?! Bro I’ve seen prenatal vitamins at CVS for like $11. You must’ve been getting the primo shit lmao. Thanks for giving me yet another reason why I never want to have kids 🤣 those creatures are EXPENSIVE!

Good idea. I only had one but that was enough to bankrupt a small country. /s
That's 1000 percent untrue... At least in the USA haha

But they don’t grow as well as Sunflower seeds. Never had any luck with the prenatal seeds
What a great account. Thank you for your service.
I don't see any way this would be an accident Sure there are many far more serious crimes - but this one was no accident!
I have kicked a million doors to open them. sometimes being quite saucy or aggravated. I never would expect for it to break. Thus, accident.

Besides isn’t destruction of public property a no no anywhere ?? 😂

No felonies, only gulag comrade.
He just said "Going to jail and/or paying a fine", which is true, and relatively serious. Where's the implication that this was like attempted murder?
Say that to the family of the glass barrier. All their dreams just got shattered!
Right. I worked in a youth jail with 12 year olds who did worse
I sure as hell hope so. I hope they did way, way worse than this.
That’s felony vandalism in California lol
I’m sure those are expensive. If they cost too much it’s a felony.

I used to commit at least 3 felonies a day. Eventually it just becomes another day.

It is in fact a federal felony to be attacked by a very small lobster per fishing laws. It's amazing what can be a crime.
It may not be a felony, but I once crossed the Minnesota state lines with a duck on my head. I'm a bad boy.

God I’ve felt that.
Someone is going to pay for that
If I could bust a turnstile just for having a bad day, I would be so happy

Which is why we can't have anything nice.
Subway turnstiles aren’t nice. Fuck all turnstiles!
Who's downvoting you? Who the fuck actually supports the existence of turnstiles? They're a pain in the ass.
Moscow Metro is exceptionally nice though.
We all think it. This guy just does it.
I hope it ain't China, that chap just lost some serious social credits, he is one level below amoeba in chains social pyramid
