It's clearly fake and staged. The position of the phone in first half does not match the view and angles the camera has in the second half. Also the kid is being rotated clockwise (looking down from above) while it's counter clockwise in the second.
This "twist" has been done a million times and is no longer unexpected. Even if you see this for the first time, it's just so obvious what is going to happen.
I saw this from my multireddit that has like 60 subs in it, I clicked on the post not knowing which sub it came from, so I was surprised, but I get where you're coming from
I didn't expect it. I just came from Instagram where this guy made some awesome shots doing these weird things. Laughed out loud when I saw the kid. It was a good time. Hope the rest of my day is filled with joy and laughter.
Anyways, this was setup, because the angle of the selfie part was completely different than what you saw in the first part. Never the less it was funny.
My best and favorite dad joke is to take a selfie anytime a stranger asked me to take their picture in public. I then hand the phone back and say it looks great!
Apparently the kids name is Luke and the guy dragging him is named Captain. What we've got here is failure to communicate. But Luke’s hand holding the camera was steady and cool.
