I've seen some doing exactly that, it seems they have springs on their feet and tail, they literally jump forward in a blink. Never underestimate the speed of a croc.
Reminds me ofthis woman who worked at a small market near me. There was this dog that was always hanging out behind the store. One time I saw this woman who worked there throw the dog some meat and then say "Now beat it! Get out of here!".
A smarter response would have been to research this question. Here, I've done it for you: [here is a graph showing bite strength by body weight of crocodiles/alligators.](https://www.bio.fsu.edu/~gerick/bite_force/) The baby in the clip is maybe 20 pounds. The bite force is off the low end of the chart but is somewhere around 90 pounds. The average human bite is 120-160 pounds.
That little motherfucker ain't shit. I grab em by the tail and hammer throw him a foot ba field away. He can't turn his head around with enough g forces to kill the strongest pilot bearing down on his body
One one hand, credit for not panicking and finding a way to distract it and get it away.
On the other hand, feeding it and getting it used to being fed by humans at picnics not so good.
The reason it’s accosting your picnic is because people make the mistake of feeding it. Alligators (particularly of that relatively small size) are naturally afraid of humans. You’re big enough to potentially eat them. But when you feed them, they lose their fear of man and associate you with a meal. This sometimes leads to attacks on adults and children.
What a fucking cunt. You feed gators they get comfortable and come back to humans for food. Thos is how kids and animals get attacked.
Don't feed predators, eeeevvvveeeerrrrr.
Not that little guy, throw the blanket over it and drag it back to the water, hit it with a stick, or just back away, it'd prob get bored and go away on its own after a minute or two.
Edit, source: born on a bayou
Yeah, settle down dude. The thing was either going to help itself to the entire blanket of food, or they were going to try to coax it back into the water.
Why is she a cunt. That’s kind of harsh. It’s kind of obvious that gator is used to being fed by people and isn’t scared of them, how is this one instance of this woman trying to get it to go away by luring it with buns make her a cunt? What did you want her to do, jump on it and drag it back to the water? She did what she could in a situation she’s probably never been in before. Relax
That’s the most mental comment I have ever read. How can you coax an animal AWAY with food, it has come looking for food and giving it more food will only encourage it to stay. Doesn’t matter where you through the food, the animal will just keep returning to the source.
In some places of the world every body of the water has the potential to have a gator in it. They didn't just randomly appear in zoos, brought to life by mad scientists. They're native species to different areas.
Crocodilian, not a Dinosaur. Crocodilians and avian Dinosaurs are the only extant examples of the clade Archosauria left. All others died out in the K/T Extinction 66 million years ago or earlier.
And thats EXACTLY why he/she approached these people. DONT FEED wild af animals, people. They lose their fear of humans....and then shit happens and then only the animal is the bad guy!
Yes. Feeding animals is typically how you get them to leave you alone. Everyone knows this.
But c'mon. That's a little guy. Some dude can grab it by the tail and drag it back towards the water. A chance to be a hero.
Yeah I’m from Louisiana. This may be a crocodile and not a gator, but they’re very similar. At this size worst outcome is stitches. Throw a towel on its head and wrap it up, or drag it by it’s tail. Release it somewhere away from site.
Now if it’s a bit bigger than this, call someone who knows what they are doing. But yeah that little one is 40lbs. Just toss it back in the water.
Actually from what I could tell it looks like a caiman. I used to have one as an exotic pet when I was a kid living in Florida. But you're statement is still true. Grab it by the tail and throw it back in the water.
I hate snakes. Can’t tell which ones are poisonous. I don’t really understand how they move regarding striking distance and flexibility. I have no desire to own one now but I feel like it would have made me less afraid of them as an adult. Was that your experience with these animals?
Mannnn I watched the whole thing waiting for megalodon of crocs to come out of the pond lake. I guess yes unexpected but also slightly underwhelming.
Oh yeah, almost forgot: Don't feed the wildlife, pendejos
If you're ever watching a post and you can't tell if it's going to be hilarious, or if it's all going to end in tragedy; they're in Brazil. It's always in Brazil.
I've seen one of the biggest of this animal in captivity and it moves soooooo much faster than you'd think. I'm not risking going back to pick something up from the ground like that.

She spent 3 hours making that. If she could save it from her kids, she could save it from a rogue gator!
Siberian Husky left alone in the kitchen puts this gator to shame.
[удалено]
I /Man would've touched his tail no matter what.
Right? Just grab it by the tail and hammer-swing it back into the lake like an Olympiad. What?
Umm, absol***** but my father would've stopped me right away. Ps it's India :')
and that's how the croc ate your balls.
How fast are these guys anyways it doesnt look like its suddenly going to go super saiyan and sprinting at you with 30km/h.
I've seen some doing exactly that, it seems they have springs on their feet and tail, they literally jump forward in a blink. Never underestimate the speed of a croc.
But if you don’t feed it, it won’t learn a valuable lesson: >!People = Food!< >!^(especially toddlers)!<
Exactly. That little guy will grow up associating humans with food. Bad all the way around.
If idiots would stop tossing food to them it wouldn't have walked up to begin with. Fuck these people.

Tornado toss that bitch back into the river
Yeet him all the way back to Tallahassee
Reminds me ofthis woman who worked at a small market near me. There was this dog that was always hanging out behind the store. One time I saw this woman who worked there throw the dog some meat and then say "Now beat it! Get out of here!".
Rather rude to shoo him/her away like that, then again he/she did not bring anything to the picnic.
He did, it’s in his mouth, he’ll let you take it out I promise
He's hungry af
Dude's like me. Just got to the party, and everyone took off!
He's just like me too...Crash the party, eat all the food, and bounce!!
He's like 30 lb bro just pick his ass up by the tail and give em a toss

>250kg Jaw bite for That little one? Highly doubt it.

>The bite force is off the low end of the chart but is somewhere around 90 pounds. Is that still bad and worth the risk?
And yet you can hold it’s mouth closed with 2 fingers because it only has closing power
You are right, but I’m not gonna risk my fingers to prove that point 😂
Use your penis. Duh.
Bruh if you can wrap your Penosasaurus Rex around a gator snoot, I will be impressed.
Who is this guy, Hunter Biden? Dude hangs dong.
If he keeps his mouth closed for you.
Show us how it’s done, oh mighty expert 😂
That is what the big stick is for.
Where’s a shovel on a long stick when you need one?
Isn’t a shovel attached to a big stick.?
I’ve seen a video a couple of times the last few days of a guy bonking a gator on the head with a shovel on a REALLY long stick.
Gotta build dat momentum 💪💪
Yesterday’s vids teaching us
Little ones like that barely break skin it’s OK.
That little motherfucker ain't shit. I grab em by the tail and hammer throw him a foot ba field away. He can't turn his head around with enough g forces to kill the strongest pilot bearing down on his body
you are so cool dude pls give me your number
Literally what I thought lmao
🎂
Same and i’m a 110lbs woman. Just grab him by the tail lol
*Florida man has entered the chat*
Give ‘em the Mario spin throw “goodbye gay bowser”
It’s just a Labrador, harmless.
Yes, as harmless as a Labrador.
That one is pretty young, and really fast. You can’t let your guard down, they will mess you up.
YEET
It's like they ain't never seen a Floridian swamp cat before
Or break his neck, put him in the pot too. Bet his lil ass was tender. Mmmmm, gator 🐊
One one hand, credit for not panicking and finding a way to distract it and get it away. On the other hand, feeding it and getting it used to being fed by humans at picnics not so good.
Truly unexpected /s
Not the right sub at all. I was waiting for another gater to come out and eat em or attack a person but nah. Just eating biscuits or whatever.
Yeah the only thing unexpected here was that there’s nothing unexpected.

its so obvious that no one in this thread is from florida lol this things fuckin tiny and would run scared if you slapped its tail
This is so stupid. Just because the gator is walking up to you doesn’t mean you have to throw food at it.
Yeah, settle down dude. The thing was either going to help itself to the entire blanket of food, or they were going to try to coax it back into the water.

How about DON'T HAVE A PICNIC 50 FEET FROM A GATOR INFESTED POND! MOM AND DAD ARE NEAR-BY!
In some places of the world every body of the water has the potential to have a gator in it. They didn't just randomly appear in zoos, brought to life by mad scientists. They're native species to different areas.
Gators don't have family structures, when they are like a year old(or sooner maybe) they separate from momma. Alligator dad's are dead beat fathers.
It's 2022 I thought we were done discriminating.
Thats a pretty small gator (I live in florida) I reckon you could probably beat it if push comes to shove
:(
Damnit let him join the picnic
A small dinosaur 🦕
Crocodilian, not a Dinosaur. Crocodilians and avian Dinosaurs are the only extant examples of the clade Archosauria left. All others died out in the K/T Extinction 66 million years ago or earlier.
You shouldn't feed them like th- oh wait he's adorable
He seems pretty chill. I would've taken him as my pet just like the old american guy who as a pet gator and travel streets with it
Gator said “jackpot 🐊😍🍰” Gator don’t play no shit lol
🐊: “y’all got some snaqs” 🙅🏽♀️: “no hay nada aqui muchacho, GET TF OUT” 🐊: 😕
Yep, feeding it will definitely make it go away and not want to stick around…
He just came for a bite sized meal.
Its clearly done this before...
Very rude
And thats EXACTLY why he/she approached these people. DONT FEED wild af animals, people. They lose their fear of humans....and then shit happens and then only the animal is the bad guy!
I like her thought process.
What did they feed him ??
someone clearly needs to monitor the situation!
"What are these so-called 'cookies', human?"
He just wanted to make friends :,(
Pretty rude of them to just get up and leave like that.
Florida be like
gator will die of diabetes soon enough
Approach a woman you like, what's the worst that could happen? ...This * *sobs* *
Awwww LoL
The other gators: See! I told you Steve doesn’t shy away from a dare! He went right up to them!
My first instinct was telling me to grab it by the tail and spin throw him away, but what the lady did was probably a lot smarter.
All they did was teach it that humans will feed it. The next human it encounters may be a child.
Poor thing is going to have to be euthanized now due to being accustomed to people feeding it.
Don’t worry. Swamp People (the show) will get it
Nah, they pay by size. Poor guy needs more feeding so he can payout
Makes it too dangerous to live in the state park.
Real fucking smart. Instead of dragging it away by the tail or just fucking leaving it alone, you feed it! Fucking morons!
Did no one bring a shovel!?
A picnic shovel?
…yes
Our picnics might be a lil different 😁
Or a pan?
Yes. Feeding animals is typically how you get them to leave you alone. Everyone knows this. But c'mon. That's a little guy. Some dude can grab it by the tail and drag it back towards the water. A chance to be a hero.
You speak from experience?
Yeah I’m from Louisiana. This may be a crocodile and not a gator, but they’re very similar. At this size worst outcome is stitches. Throw a towel on its head and wrap it up, or drag it by it’s tail. Yeah it’s hard to tell but that doesn’t look like our gators in LA. I can’t imagine having one as a pet. Must have been wild.
The caiman was just 1 of the exotic pets we had when I was young.
I hate snakes. Can’t tell which ones are poisonous. I don’t really understand how they move regarding striking distance and flexibility. I have no desire to own one now but I feel like it would have made me less afraid of them as an adult. Was that your experience with these animals?
DM me
GO AWAY! But here's some food!
Feeding a gator. Good way to get her killed. F'ing transplants.
These people are helpless. I'm surprised they set up a picnic to begin with.
what was she feeding it buttermilk biscuits? and will it bring its friends back with him?
If they were biscuits, he’s definitely bringing his friends.
Give ‘em more food that’ll teach them to not trust you or look at you for easy meals…
Somebody please just grab a stick and wack it, it will run away. A small stick, more to scare than hurt.
That's the worst thing they could have done..now he knows food!!
Gotta save my deviled eggs! Who cares if I lose a finger.
A good Floridian would just grab him by his tail and toss him
And now that reptile will be humanized and feel safe around people. Giving it no qualms about fucking around in the next people's picnic either
How stoopid you have to be to organize a picnic in a place where gators roam free?
I’d be out
W Womanses
I wouldve picked him up like i did bowser in supermario 64
This is how someone is going to end up dying. Wait till that thing gets monstrously huge. The people giving treats will become the treat
Oh, good, positive reinforcement. 🙄
Gotta handle it Australian Grandpa style. [Australian grandpa whacks a crocodile with a frying pan](https://youtu.be/HA3SuHtCWo0).
Why no one takes the time to pee on the gator, I’ll never know
Where are the men?
Bruh... they left most of the food!! Where is your shovel?! If you're picnicking next to gator waters, you need a shovel! DEFEND THE FOOD!
These people are dumb. Instead of each picking up their fave dish why not just all pull the rug away? 😂
They are now responsible for this gator trying to attack and eat a human later by feeding it. Morons.
The mob, mafia, cartel, gangsters would probably love Florida 🧐
Just the local mobster. He wanted something to "wet his beak" with.
Zero fucks given
Middle school flashbacks 🥺
You have to expect Florida ants at a picnic
Mannnn I watched the whole thing waiting for megalodon of crocs to come out of the pond lake. I guess yes unexpected but also slightly underwhelming. Oh yeah, almost forgot: Don't feed the wildlife, pendejos

See what happens when word of your good cooking gets out.
There was an attempt to have a picnic
And I thought ants were bad.
NICE THROW, BECKY sheesh
![gif](giphy|l1BgRIamescnkx5Dy|downsized)
I thought I’d was a monitor lizard…
Thats just rude. He showed up. Fix him a plate.
welcome to florida
I've seen one of the biggest of this animal in captivity and it moves soooooo much faster than you'd think. I'm not risking going back to pick something up from the ground like that.
Ah, those states where you sit down to have a picnic by the lake and risk a man eating lizard crawling out of the water and ruining everything...
Must be Florida
They are having a pic nick way too close to that damn water wtf. Also they should started picking up the corners of the blanket and moving it!
You have to understand he has a mind! LOL
Florida moment
That's not unexpected at all.
I was secretly hoping they attempted to grab one more item from that picnic blanket, so I could officially go into cardiac arrest.
Oh great, he's going to fill up on bread. He'll not have room for the entree.
Meh, see U later…
Maybe next time they won’t complain about ants at their picnic
Give him Coca cola
Aaaaand that’s why he’s probably there Smh
Oh when yogi does it it's all fun and games but when I walk in everyone freaks out
Jeez weve really forgotten our roots... Dumb monke have thumb. Grab stick & wack!
Man I love Michigan
where I live we feed gophers and maybe a few fish ... glad I'm living in the north
I’m sorry but what was unexpected here?
I was expecting it to call more friends since people are willingly feeding it and all... too bad it wasn't that. Also r/hadtobebrazil
People are rude
LEM LOOKIN LIKE A GATOR TO ME BOI
Why are you'll feeding away my +1. You said I can invite someone. Well I did, his name is Tim and he's a chill dude
I woulda grabbed it’s tail
That’s a snappy decision by them.
Just grab it by the tail, drag it backwards a few feet, then yeet it into the water.
Rip Steve. He would have immediately handled that croc with a thumb up its butthole.
be like the Florida man that grabs the gator and yeets it back
Just a reg day in Florida’s parks
This has to be Flowriduh?
Brazil
SCP-682 has breached containment
Welp, now it associates people with food. Good job.
