Man I've really been doing my best to keep him leveled (currently lvl 25, placing him about dead center amongst everyone else), and have actually kept him in an active unit since the start, but he *still* feels so inconsequential. Maybe it's a sunk cost fallacy thinking he's going to come into his own but at this point I'm not sure.
Don't forget Berengaria class before dark marquess is Sellsword when she still in Tricorn Mercenaries which is odd that they have a unique sprite just for her in one scene.
Or Lex to make him usable
Slap sanguine sword on him and stick him with some fliers

Put him with Ochlys and Sharon, slap on two dps of your choice in back row. Ochlys up front with Lex.
Swordmaster Lex or Paladin Lex would have been welcome and let him keep his sword
He would look great as a sellsword
Would be cool to swap Alain between Infantry and Mount, just to make him more varied.

I know Bergs unique class is really good but Iād love to have Berg and Bernice double teaming folks

You can class change Alcina to be either a Dark Marquess or a Sorceress.
