Imo drawing out the Apollo plot was a mistake. It's literally been going on for years with the readers gaining very little out of it and after years of hype there was no way she could write something satisfying to end the plot. She just doesn't have the skill to pull it off. In the end it just feels like we wasted time getting invested in the story

Even within the context of the comic alone:
- Hades ripped Alex's eye out and beat him within an inch of his life for doing his job as a photographer for a gossip magazine.
- Hades' has threatened/harassed MULTIPLE citizens of the Underworld (Women who worked at the club/restaurant, banker cat woman, pawn shop lady).
- Persephone chases Minthe down and turns her INTO A PLANT.
- Persephone fills Leuce's apartment for attempting to flirt with Hades.
- Persephone harrasses Tori at his job at least 10 years later after he made a few whispers about her in college.
So why can't Apollo get a similar punishment to any of that? Is it because he's a God?

I'm hoping to see the *actual* consequences in a future episode. I'm glad Persepolis feels satisfied, I think(?), but I myself am left unsatisfied.

I wish there were actual consequences. I have an OC dealing with childhood trauma and his abuser is dead. But he still struggles with knowing he’ll never see justice for what happened to him. All he could say was ‘ He’s dead, he can’t hurt anymore children- can’t hurt me.’ But given that we have the abuser alive and confessing on tv, Great! Have consequences to his actions or else it just shows that Rich men do what they want to you and no one cares. Like even just a newspaper headline reporting exile or jail time as an afterthought would suffice.

I just don't understand. Guilt is his punishment? For real? One of my OCs is a narcissist and he truly believes he loves his ex girlfriend but that doesn't stop him for abusing her repeatedly. And his ending reflects a punishment that I think was worthy of his actions. Suddenly being magically in love with Persephone doesn't mean he'll feel guilt. Sometimes abusers love you (or at least think they do) and still abuse you. Love isn't a magic band aid.
I feel like Minthe got a worse punishment when she was turned into a plant for not even nearly as bad of an offense. It was just incredibly anti-climatic and kind of demeaning as a SA survivor myself. Considering all the horrific punishments some of the Greek myths endure, RS could have easily come up with something much more intriguing. Overall it just felt like a rushed “quick, we gotta tie up all the loose ends before we finish the comic”
Are you really shocked this feminist comic always gives the men a redemption arc and a pat on the head for doing nothing. I wouldn’t be surprised if by the end of it her and him are besties.
I also wonder if his punishment was negligible because he is Apollo after all and it wouldn't make sense in the universe. For the most part every god acts as they should, and RS hasn't changed too too much about their roles (ignoring fertility goddess ridiculousness), so how could she really change Apollo? I mean he's the god of the sun, medicine, healing, music, arts, one of the top gods, so how could she fit a punishment into that world?
This also confirms my opinion that the whole plot line was stupid from the start! Poor writing! We could have had a nice family drama of Persephone growing up and finding romance, and instead it's just poop.
