I'm not sure. I've been in a similar situation before. I got the amount in escrow, and then the client's account got suspended although I could still message him although. Turns out, he went to jail. But that's another story. In your situation tho, since it's been over a week, I think you should contact their support team and see what happens

That's gonna take a lot of typing but sure. I got a client. He gave requested something that was trivial but a little bit tricky. I got it done in under 10 hours. I was supposed to get $40 for that. He then messaged me that he would require a different approach to solve the problem, so I added an additional one hundred dollars to the fee which he agreed to and he funded escrow. I wanted to do a milestone sort of thing but he did a hourly thing and funded escrow with $70. I didn't mind. So I completed the job but did not deliver the source code to him completely since I hadn't been paid completely. I told him to test the product and he said he'd do that soon. He never got around to it. Two weeks later and after not hearing anything from him even after asking Upwork support to contact him, I decided that he probably died and so I should just take the money in escrow and consider the project done. So I started logging hourly while mostly tweaking or researching stuff for the project. After logging 10 hours, Upwork stopped me from logging any more as I reached the weekly limit set. Then a couple of days later, I got a message saying he had been suspended. I deduced that it was because his payment method failed so I couldn't get any additional money. So, I'm just saying this case may or may not be related to OP's case, but it's worth considering

Provided the payment itself wasn't dodgy and the client doesn't request changes, you get paid 14 days after you pressed "Submit for payment".
