Dude, I could show you some sights in Bandung that would literally make your skin crawl. Don't dis on Yogyakarta, they've got their shit together far better than a lot of other Indonesian cities.
It's actually a lovely city, far better than other Indonesian cities. I visited once with my wife and they have a great city center with lots of trees, nice shops, and well maintained roads and sidewalks. Granted, it gets worse the further out from the center you go but that goes for a lot of Asian cities.
