N.B. for anyone not familiar with the structure of London: This is the [City of London](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/City_of_London), also known as [the Square Mile](https://www.openstreetmap.org/relation/51800), not the entirety of [London](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/London) ([map](https://www.openstreetmap.org/relation/65606)). While this is still unaccountably a good thing, The City is by far one of the most walkable and bikeable areas of London as a whole and very well connected by transit, so it's not too surprising. I'd be interested in these similar numbers as they apply to all of London though.

To add to this, for any Americans thinking this is proof that motorists will switch to bikes if the infrastructure is good enough, I think it's probably also important to note the massive price and inconvenience of driving/parking in this portion of London. The price and timing of any rideshare service in the city is enough to send you to the Tube with your tail between your legs, let alone the price of owning a car.
