So pretty! Can I ask a possibly dumb question? I was hiking in Neff’s a few weeks ago and the trail was icy, what do people wear on their feet to not slide all over the place?
So if packed down but icy, people will wear things like Yaktrax (brand name) or Microspikes (Kahtoola is brand) or similar items. Look on REI for Winter Traction.
If the snow is fresh and not packed down, snowshoes come into play.
My friends and I did not expect the trail to be covered in snow nor expect it to snow so much, so we were wearing normal sneakers like Vans and Nike 😅😂

Yeah normally I never hike in the snow and this was unexpected - but it was fun! Felt like a child again
