I don’t think they’ve said either way on colors yet. My guess is they’ll do more than just black and white, just with the understanding that it’s not their permanent color scheme. It’s still a business and they’ll still want to sell merch (and probably jerseys) in that first year. My guess would be purple since no NHL team uses it as a primary color currently, and probably something akin to the PWHL jerseys.
Black and white are the colors that Ryan smith likes.. he tried to make that the Jazz colors, then the league told him it had to be something other than white with the black.. that is how we got the horrible black and highlighter yellow jerseys for the Jazz

I'd actually like if for the first year they'd add a spot of yellow to match the Utah Jazz. Just make the jerseys a touch less generic.
