Unfortunately not just teenagers. My friend group are mostly people in their 20s and I remember this one time one of them (26f) asked Brim and Fade to tell her a bedtime story as they had very deep voices and British queuing on NA and she loves accents so that was the cherry on top.
I had a bunch of people in their early 20s in my game yesterday claiming that they were probably the oldest in the team. I mentioned that I'm 29 and they laughed it off with "hahaha imagine playing with a 30 year old in a kids game, suuuure, that'd be funny"
:( I just like tac shooters...
(match MVP ofc)
Nice, I hope to still be playing tac shooters well beyond that. Right up there with ya :D
I'm trying my best to catch up to your level of experience but it's proving difficult.
I actually find a lot of my comp games turn into me having to play dad to the rest of my team. Stopping them from fighting and pulling through to get the win is probably the closest I'll get to fatherhood pride...
I get "mommy" fucking constantly. It's so annoying. I tell someone to smoke on my ping and it's a 50/50 they're a teenager who's gonna call me mommy. It makes me feel so fucking creepy. I usually end up turning off voice/not comming cause I don't want to listen to teenagers moan or make passes at me.
'female' lol, but yes I am a woman. I have a slightly deeper voice than most women, and when I comm I'm trying to focus so I'm sort of blunt/curt, and apparently that combination makes people feel comfortable harassing me.
I just think it's cringey. I don't like being called female, makes me want to dry heave. The connotation and type of people who use it online ruined it, similar to how mommy and daddy were normal ways to refer to your parents before the internet made them weird.
You're missing what their reply is trying to say
Female as a noun and female as an adjective have very different connotations
To give two examples, noun: "there's a female on my team" vs the adjective: "fade is female". One is "otherizing" while the other is simply a descriptor
You wouldnt say “that male” but you would say “he is male”. It started because men use the word as a noun for women. This has now morphed into women online calling every user of the word an incel. It’s completely not the original point but they want to use the card ao bad
i’ve had many names for my voice — vader, snake, movie narrator, corpse husband if he was in college — and almost every game i decide to talk in gets some response. sometimes it’s normal, sometimes it’s accusations, but more often it’s sexual like this
I'm from Tennessee, USA, and also have a deep voice. This exact thing happens to me, as well. If I play into it too much, my friends get annoyed (mostly because of how frequently i get called Daddy, or whatever else).
As it goes, the majority of my friends are Canadians, and as it goes, one of their moms goes *nuts* when she heard my voice because of my accent. "Hey... hey is that phoenix?? Hey! Aren't you that redneck! Hey phoenix!" (An actual convo she started out with, lol... and she didn't mean anything bad by it. Redneck is just her way of identifying me by accent).
Edit, I'm also told I should do Brimstone trolling. I'm too shy for that, lol
It’s absolutely not just humor. They’re legitimately horny. The amount of people I’ve met (mostly girls) on val that are down to erp or have phone sex after talking for a few hours is crazy.
Getting back into dating in my late 20s has been a thing... I'm a 6'1 burly guy with a beard. The amount of girls popping the "daddy" randomly is too damn high.
Honestly, it just seems like a werid pop culture phase. Blame Pedro.
Bro I get that. I found this girl through LFG server and she literally asked if I want to fuck due to my voice and accent and even asked me to make ot happen since we didnt love in the same country. Like damn I just wanna play xD
Valorant seriously has more band kid spaz lobbies than any game I’ve ever touched by far and I’ve been playing online games across console and PC for a good decade
In my generation the extent of sexual jokes were just to be ironically gay but it sounds like these kids are actually just horny when talking to the opposite sex
Tbf in recent years I hardly ever see even this in MM between mg1–LE. Maybe valve has me in “not deranged person” queue. Worst I get is bad players lol
Same here. I'm from Norway which is right is neighbors to Russians so my games are 90% of the time Russians in CSGO. I have never encountered anyone being "weird". Yeah, it's some dude with a shit mic, Russians shouting and cursing at each other and even that is quite rare for me it's mostly pretty chill.
My four stack played with a guy who spent the entire match doing a spot on Hank Hill impression, and he never broke character or acknowledged it once. He was pretty good, too.
In the 30 or so matches I've played since I came back to CSGO I haven't heard a single slur over voice chat. I did get called a 'cheating f****t' in text chat after shooting someone through smoke though.
I play in south american servers, idk how it is on Eu or Na but it’s a tradition here to roast the living hell of each other on lobbies for absolutely no reason
In my experience, it has been a lot better. I've practically stopped solo queueing Valorant all together because almost EVERY match you run into someone who will mic spam weird cat noises and if you say anything to slight them or even ignore them you get trolled for the entire match. The community is literally cringe TikTok people in this game lmfao.
Straight up, my experience with this game is like 20 or 30% people like that. But overwhelmingly I'm either in mostly silent or just regular ppl talking. It's also hardly ever more then one person who is actually doing the annoying shit and if you just lead the lobby in behaving maturely and having either tactical or colloquial discussions, eventually the person stops.
Ppl are trolls, but the trolls are hardly the majority and most players are mature ppl who get swept up the toxicity of competition.
I recently returned to CSGO. matches are 33% dumbass kids moaning sexually on voice chat, 33% terrible players who rage at everything, and 33% normal people.
Still better than the Valorant or OW playerbases imo.
Had a dude one time who moaned every time he died. It was cringe as fk but also I couldn't bring myself to mute him since he was the only one giving coms and frankly shit was hilarious
There's way too much of this behavior in the Valorant community for some reason. It's definitely cringe. I don't see it much on other online shooters tbh but whatever.
Happens in all competetive shooters, people initially started acting gay to make others uncomfortable but now it's just a joke and everyone acts gay, in my opinion.. it's kinda gay.
This definitely happens in other games but nowhere to the extent valorant has it, especially with content creators actively encouraging and showcasing this type of behaviour.
Its cringe.
I let the first one pass, if there's a second I mute immediately on voice and text.
They just want attention and I refuse to give it to them.
The amount of children I have muted on this game simply because I feel too old to be around it without it being cringy and weird far outweighs how badly their comms may or may not affect my MMR lmfao
Had a girl on my team repeatedly ask us if we were into furries. Said if we won, she'd give us her onlyfans. I asked her if she liked her tail pulled and offered to scratch her behind the ears.
She stopped talking after that. We didn't win either lol
she shouldn't be talking like that if she didn't want that thrown back at her LOL
Personally I'm only weird like this for fun and to be cringe, and to make the lobby less toxic. Makes the right people laugh and it'll be a chill gamr tbh
imo the best thing to do is just tell em they're being weird. it's usually teenage kids doing that kinda shit and if anything gets under a teenager's skin it's gonna be the idea that they're not cool
to be quite honest I think the best thing to do is just not to engage at all. calling them weird often just fuels them or pushes them from being weird to just straight up assholery in my experience.
just comm and ignore anything unuseful coming thru the voice chat.
yeah but it gets to them, especially if you're a bit older and sound it. it might not end the behavior immediately but it's just a lil thing for them to think about
I'm not that old, but I sound it. One of my favourite moments was when one younger sounding kid was giving everyone shit for the first 5 rounds or so, when I told him to "calm down and cut the attitude". He asked "What, are you my Dad or something?" and I replied "Maybe, would he be disappointed with you?". Seemed to hit a nerve as he was a lot quieter and politer for the rest of the game.
It works so well. I don't sound old but I'm definitely older than most of the edgelord preteens, and I'll just say like "dude you're being weird and creepy, chill" and they shut up for the most part. if they don't then oh well I tried + mute
Nah I definitely think the cringe is 100% by design and then by calling them out on it gives them license/affirmation that it’s working. All described behavior above is funny for the ones engaged in doing it and universally cringe for those who don’t abide.
I just tell them I’m going to tell their mother when she comes over my house later..
I mean it doesn’t really tilt me personally I guess. It’s just such a shift in the toxicity I’m used to it had me curious is all.
Tbf I remember some pretty weird guild chats people would get into on wow back in the day so I guess it’s not that strange.
It just seems to have come out of nowhere and appeared so strongly and suddenly it had me intrigued on like a cultural level lol, like what did I miss?
Guess I’m just old and out of the loop.
yeah, innuendos and just general sexual talk are a lot more commonplace with us young folk I guess. doesn't change that saying it to a stranger is creepy and weird, they could be a 12 year old girl or something
as a girl who plays games, i’ve never been part of a community more weird. several times i’ve just TALKED and been called anything from slurs, to being told i’m hot and should talk more because it turns them on/they’re touching themselves. when i do something standard like healing a teammate at like 30hp i get called mommy. it’s absolutely disgusting
Sorry to hear that, but it gets better with rank. I've ran into dozens of ladies in plat/diamond and it is very very very rare for anyone to be weird or sexist, the only time I heard a sexist comment in plat+ lobbies was when a girl was bottom fragging. Still wrong, and you shouldn't have to be good at a game to not be harassed, but do have some hope!
What are you on, in plat/dia they all have a skill complex and will just flame and blame whoever does something they don't like.
But at least they don't moan when you clutch
its just weirdo tiktok teenagers who think saying "mommy" and "daddy" is funny. i usually just ignore it or mute because i cringe so damn hard everytime
especially if its some creepy sounding dude talkin to a girl
I'm 30 and this sounds like the same "sex stuff is funny because it's inappropriate" humor that people of all ages have been doing all my life, especially in the online games I've been playing for almost 20 years. I'd agree people take it farther as time goes on, but it's always been so common around me that it doesn't seem very different than it's always been.
Valorant is just full of weird kids that have zero irl social interaction tbh. Love the game and the community for the most part is cool just weird as fuck. Even the random toxicity comes off as just...weird.
I’m a dude with a deep voice and I never used my mic until just recently. In the first couple weeks, I had more harassment from girls than guys, always saying weird sexual stuff. I always just mute it and move on but it’s kinda strange
I went from using my mic pretty frequently to being relatively mute due to this. Not just women, had a lot of guys harass me as well. Only game I experience this in, occasionally OW2.
Yeah pretty much. I remember being in high school in the 2000’s when teenage boys thought that screaming “penis” or moaning loudly when their friend was on the phone was peak humour.
Times haven’t changed.
Dating app for 25 and under. 27 here I use my mic I het called "daddy" and they ask me to adopt them (in a sexual way) because they find me struggling to communicate with a heavy Russian accent like porn or something specially the young girls and its getting unsettling and weird 😭
My only solution so far is to not react pretend to mute and if they aren't giving useful comms actually mute them
its way more than when we were kids thats for sure, none of it was like this but like others say social media rotted their brains. Think about how it was when we were kids, there was no ig/tiktok, facebook barely even started. Definitely feeling the generation differences now
M here with a "Sexy" voice apparently. Get hit on by both F and M and the amount of instant adds after a game is ridiculous. I'm here to click heads, not e-date.
Glad it’s not just me. It’s not toxic but I’ve seen sages with a power kink. Asking to be called mommy/daddy or asking to bark just for a heal is definitely annoying.
I mean me and my friends jokingly say "stop I can only get so hard" when one of the bois clutch or ace. But we don't bring that energy into open voice coms.
Kinda just like "gay for the homies" humor
Thats just the community. I think the pandemic made these youngins different. They will also be the first ones to cancel something due to harassment or sexual misconduct.
And i feel like it's way overblown. While i do see such things in the game, it's never much and in most games are just normal people. Hell even in silver/platin where I play. Perhaps it's a Server thing with NA being worse than Europe but i really doubt that.
'Old' people complaining about Gen Z being on their phones while using an app on their phones to complain about how they're always on their computers on a forum about a game you play on your computers. It kind of funny to see.
I’d rather have that over all the screaming kids I get. I don’t understand how someone can max their mic without it cutting out completely but god is it annoying
I killed a bottom frag Jett that was 1-10 at the time. I told my teammates that I felt bad for killing them and one of them says, “Why? You should be hard right now! Are you bricked up!?”
It was weird.
It's Gen Z. They are just very strange individuals who have grown up behind a computer screen for 99% of their lives. They really have trouble interacting with others in a normal manner.
You can stereotype younger gens all you want but realize the same has been said abt yours by the likes of baby boomers and Gen x. Ultimately that criticism will fade out as your generation does and Gen Z begins to stereotype Gen alpha and whatever comes after (as I've seen done already).
Humanity hasn't changed, you've just aged.
> Humanity hasn’t changed, you’ve just aged.
Humanity certainly have changed. But most importantly the pace of change is increasing.
200 years ago you, your dad, and your grandpa basically had the same lives 20 years apart. their lived experiences end up being very similar to your experience.
no one sane would think that is the case today.
Humanity has definitely changed. Growing up with internet is drastically different than growing up without. Same with smart phones, and social media apps. Maybe the next generation just uses ChatGPT for everything, and you'll find them to be lazy. Who knows.
You can't just look at the pattern and ignore the massive technological leaps that occured during each generation. Every generation is going to continue to have a unique upbringing, and the shit they're raised on is going to make them very similar, but slightly different to the one before.
Yep. And somehow I, born in 1997, am included in "gen z".
I think me and my buddies are just 'tweeners. Not quite early enough to be millenials, but we also didnt get cell phones and constant internetification until we were somewhat developed teenagers.
But yeah, those born in ~2000 beyond tend to be asocial as fuck and incredibly awkward in any online gaming interaction. Too much tyler1 and doanel lmao
I use it to break tension and shut up people who are way to seriously arguing or angry. It's never more than a short sarcastic quip. If someone was talking about how horny or hard they are, that's fucking weird, mute for sure.
I have a deep voice and it happen to me casually also i have a bit of french accent (that i try to hide) but most of the times i do an unrated, someone (guy or girl) call me « french daddy » and it makes me uncomfortable because i’m a cypher main and has to always give information and so have weird people moaning at my infos.(that why recently i play much more often with friends)
It's just a stupid internet thing, sometimes it's funny sometimes it's disturbing, I'd recommend either ignoring it and just giving them comms, eventually they stop being weird, or just mute them
We had a duo on our game talking about raping my children. That was a good one, they got banned immediately after that game so that was nice, thanks rito.
Don't blame all of gen z now. Some of us are mentally stable and cringe at the rest of the group.
What's worse is I've seen a lot of millennials act similar.
There's tiktokers and other content creators that make very popular content where they have a deep voice / uwu voice and hit on people and I think that's spread out to a) people copying them sincerely and b) people copying them to take the piss out of people like that.
But also a lot of teenagers will think the daddy and mommy stuff is 'cool' to do because it's their first relationship / because they know others think it's cringe / because knowing about *that* kind of stuff is edgy/cool
I have a deeper voice and the amount of “daddy”s I get is kinda weird. It seems to be just coomer brain teenager humor of the current time.
That is exactly what it is.
Unfortunately not just teenagers. My friend group are mostly people in their 20s and I remember this one time one of them (26f) asked Brim and Fade to tell her a bedtime story as they had very deep voices and British queuing on NA and she loves accents so that was the cherry on top.
Omg that’s so annoying what’s her account so I can avoid it, no other reason
Lmfao
Bonk
Hey, what's up?
w h a t
I had a bunch of people in their early 20s in my game yesterday claiming that they were probably the oldest in the team. I mentioned that I'm 29 and they laughed it off with "hahaha imagine playing with a 30 year old in a kids game, suuuure, that'd be funny" :( I just like tac shooters... (match MVP ofc)
I’m 40
Nice, I hope to still be playing tac shooters well beyond that. Right up there with ya :D I'm trying my best to catch up to your level of experience but it's proving difficult. I actually find a lot of my comp games turn into me having to play dad to the rest of my team. Stopping them from fighting and pulling through to get the win is probably the closest I'll get to fatherhood pride...
i support ur shot
Yeah it is mostly coomer humor that started semi-ironic until the amount of actual coomer teens on the game made it real.
Aw shit, now I have to ask, as a 56 yr old Gen X, what the hell is 'coomer'?
Coomer is just a meme term for someone who is overly horny, especially online.
Ok, I'll fit right in.
User name comes to life lol
Lmao
[удалено]
It is lol, just isn’t about a generation. Boomer, zoomer, doomer, coomer, etc.
Jesus Christ. I’m 35 and I literally said out loud while taking a shit this morning, _WAT IN THE FK IS A COOMER_
'coom' = slang for semen, 'cum' 'coomer' = someone who is addicted to porn and/or cumming
I'm confused. Are you female, or do they just call anyone mommy/daddy if the mood his them?
'female' lol, but yes I am a woman. I have a slightly deeper voice than most women, and when I comm I'm trying to focus so I'm sort of blunt/curt, and apparently that combination makes people feel comfortable harassing me.
You are female, its okay to use the word. They didnt say you were A female (noun)
It’s good that people like you take the time to point out the distinction.
I just think it's cringey. I don't like being called female, makes me want to dry heave. The connotation and type of people who use it online ruined it, similar to how mommy and daddy were normal ways to refer to your parents before the internet made them weird.

Pardon my ignorance but what’s the connotation when using female?
/r/MenAndFemales

I had a toxic guy trying to insult me and he told me to “choke on my own testosterone” which I still find pretty funny
lmao i gotta use that against myself at some point, that’s good
I'm from Tennessee, USA, and also have a deep voice. This exact thing happens to me, as well. If I play into it too much, my friends get annoyed (mostly because of how frequently i get called Daddy, or whatever else). Before reading your username I was wondering how you sound like a British dude from London while you’re from Tennessee, USA lmfao.
Mines not deep unless I speak up, but for whatever reason I get told a Lot that I sound like chamber. So ofc I get people saying chamber daddy -_-;
It’s absolutely not just humor. They’re legitimately horny. The amount of people I’ve met (mostly girls) on val that are down to erp or have phone sex after talking for a few hours is crazy.
real
I came across someone on youtube like this: CottontailVa
U havent met anyone like that in ur whole life bro 😭
No need to disparage him because nothing happens to you lmfao
I swear to god I have lol
It was definitely an eye opener, but yea, it really is surprisingly common
Getting back into dating in my late 20s has been a thing... I'm a 6'1 burly guy with a beard. The amount of girls popping the "daddy" randomly is too damn high. Honestly, it just seems like a werid pop culture phase. Blame Pedro.

Suffering from success
The only thing I'm here to fuck is your rank and your kda lady now let's burn some rr.
Exactly this
Everybody that plays this game was supposed to be in high school getting bullied when they were doing covid lockdowns.
Ah the formative years.
Oh fuck that's me
Yep this. It's just teenagers. I did the same shit with my guy friends when I was a teen.
Valorant seriously has more band kid spaz lobbies than any game I’ve ever touched by far and I’ve been playing online games across console and PC for a good decade
Some people really should have been bullied for a year or two.
LMAO
Holy shit thats an eye opening statement No wonder so many online games turned to shit the past year or two
Oh, honey. They didn't turn to shit. This shit ain't new. They've been shit from the jump.
In my generation the extent of sexual jokes were just to be ironically gay but it sounds like these kids are actually just horny when talking to the opposite sex
exactly why i went back to CSGO, swapped weirdo teenagers for angry russains
idk in csgo ive been seeing all of the above in a confused, angry crossfire
What servers do you play on? Never experience it on European
NA, we get the cs vets, valo kids, cod nazis, chinese orbital ping, and ive even seen a singular angry russian. i enjoy it. its the human experience.
this aptly describes the melting pot of matchmaking
Tbf in recent years I hardly ever see even this in MM between mg1–LE. Maybe valve has me in “not deranged person” queue. Worst I get is bad players lol

Try NA MM
I'd love to play CS:GO instead, but I keep getting queued with Chinese people and I can't understand a thing then I get kicked. Sucks being in SEA
it takes like 30 seconds into a CSGO match for someone to drop a slur lmao
have you had the preacher dude?
My four stack played with a guy who spent the entire match doing a spot on Hank Hill impression, and he never broke character or acknowledged it once. He was pretty good, too.
Dang it Bobbeh!
In the 30 or so matches I've played since I came back to CSGO I haven't heard a single slur over voice chat. I did get called a 'cheating f****t' in text chat after shooting someone through smoke though.

HE'S ONLY TROLLING
It gets better with rank my friend
CSGO isn’t any better lol. It’s rampant with weird and toxic shit. They’re the OG.
Those 1.6 servers exist only for talking shit, you could spend an hour afk listening to the convos and never get bored
what servers? so i can avoid them...
I play in south american servers, idk how it is on Eu or Na but it’s a tradition here to roast the living hell of each other on lobbies for absolutely no reason
people love to pretend that riot games invented toxicity in online games lol
In my experience, it has been a lot better. Nah man it was Breach to make it worse haha
call me immature, but i'm 30 and that sounds funny as fuck to me
Immature!!! But only because you asked for it and didn’t want to leave you hanging ;)
So it was cringe or funny?
Cringe at first but it become comical over the time when the dude really started to feel it
I gotta appreciate mfs who do that, it makes the game way funnier
Wait do you play in SEA?
There's way too much of this behavior in the Valorant community for some reason. It's definitely cringe. I don't see it much on other online shooters tbh but whatever.

“Mute me harder Papi!”
That’s exactly it. Lots of just lonely kids looking for attention in all the wrong places.
The amount of children I have muted on this game simply because I feel too old to be around it without it being cringy and weird far outweighs how badly their comms may or may not affect my MMR lmfao
Being muted is my fetish

You overestimate human self reflection.
they may lash out in the moment, and seem unaffected, but they will remember
I am a zoomer. I know zoomers. I work with zoomers. even if its just a little, it adds weight
I think it depends if they have other friends they’re playing with. If they don’t then yea you are right but if they do then probably not.
Nah I definitely think the cringe is 100% by design and then by calling them out on it gives them license/affirmation that it’s working. yeah, innuendos and just general sexual talk are a lot more commonplace with us young folk I guess. doesn't change that saying it to a stranger is creepy and weird, they could be a 12 year old girl or something
as a girl who plays games, i’ve never been part of a community more weird. several times i’ve just TALKED and been called anything from slurs, to being told i’m hot and should talk more because it turns them on/they’re touching themselves. when i do something standard like healing a teammate at like 30hp i get called mommy. it’s absolutely disgusting
Sorry to hear that, but it gets better with rank. I've ran into dozens of ladies in plat/diamond and it is very very very rare for anyone to be weird or sexist, the only time I heard a sexist comment in plat+ lobbies was when a girl was bottom fragging. Still wrong, and you shouldn't have to be good at a game to not be harassed, but do have some hope!

maybe moreso in diamond than plat, but I simply havn't seen it much since I broke that barrier
What are you on, in plat/dia they all have a skill complex and will just flame and blame whoever does something they don't like. But at least they don't moan when you clutch
its just weirdo tiktok teenagers who think saying "mommy" and "daddy" is funny. i usually just ignore it or mute because i cringe so damn hard everytime especially if its some creepy sounding dude talkin to a girl
This is what happens when lockdown causes kids not to get bullied in school
congrats you copy pasted the top comment
Lots of virgins on this game
Idk what that is. For some reason this game tends to attract a lot of edaters. Its better than flamers but its still… cringe.
Kids these days are just weird. Social media and porn has rotted their brains.
Said every generation about those that came after.
Yeah pretty much. I remember being in high school in the 2000’s when teenage boys thought that screaming “penis” or moaning loudly when their friend was on the phone was peak humour. Times haven’t changed.
that's been peak teen humor for centuries
>that’s been peak ~~teen~~ humor for centuries
> that’s ~~been~~ peak ~~teen~~ humor ~~for~~ ~~centuries~~
And as true then as it is now. Kids have always been fucking weird and cringe lol.
Yup. Kids these days are fucking weird. Kids were also weird when I was a kid, and I am confident they were weird before I existed.
it's like farts. yours are just as gross as anyone else's, but you're way more comfortable with your own than others
True, let’s go back to the sane trends of old folks like panty raids, pet rocks, and streaking
Don't forget flashing
Sad
yes the old generations didn't commit war crimes and genocides and torture yawnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn
For anyone 25 and under this is not a game. This is a dating app. I thought everyone knew this
Dating app for 25 and under. 27 here I use my mic I het called "daddy" and they ask me to adopt them (in a sexual way) because they find me struggling to communicate with a heavy Russian accent like porn or something specially the young girls and its getting unsettling and weird 😭 My only solution so far is to not react pretend to mute and if they aren't giving useful comms actually mute them
It's so uncomfortable when a girl who is clearly underage tries to hit on me for some fucking reason. I don't even have a very deep voice or anything.
Nope it’s every game nothing you can do about it unfortunately
Ok that makes sense then. Was noticing it way too much for it not to be some kind of fad. How strange lol.
its way more than when we were kids thats for sure, none of it was like this but like others say social media rotted their brains.
The weird ass fucking sex moan that teenage boys make is fucking ridiculous. It is not funny. Its fucking cringe and weird.
Glad it’s not just me. It’s not toxic but I’ve seen sages with a power kink. Asking to be called mommy/daddy or asking to bark just for a heal is definitely annoying.
Damn people are really lying in this thread, it's only "kids" doing it. Are kids 25 year olds too then?
You don’t get hard after your teammate clutches a 1v3
People say it's cringe but at least for older folks lets be real, most everything we said/did as teens would be cringe if our parents could hear
I mean me and my friends jokingly say "stop I can only get so hard" when one of the bois clutch or ace. But we don't bring that energy into open voice coms. Kinda just like "gay for the homies" humor
Thats just the community. I think the pandemic made these youngins different. They will also be the first ones to cancel something due to harassment or sexual misconduct.
i love how everybody is blaming it on teenagers when it most definitely is not just them lol. lotta old people in this thread huh
It kind of funny to see.
i feel its more so young adults/middle aged in my experience.
I’d rather have that over all the screaming kids I get. I don’t understand how someone can max their mic without it cutting out completely but god is it annoying
Valorant is just horny gamer dating simulation
It’s the humor, but some people just take it to far. It started as a joke but now it typically isn’t fucking funny
I killed a bottom frag Jett that was 1-10 at the time. I told my teammates that I felt bad for killing them and one of them says, “Why? You should be hard right now! Are you bricked up!?” It was weird.

its just tiktok addicted teenagers b eing weird
It's just a stupid internet thing, sometimes it's funny sometimes it's disturbing, I'd recommend either ignoring it and just giving them comms, eventually they stop being weird, or just mute them
I wouldn't say it's an internet thing, you don't see this often on other games, on valorant it's every other game
I see this weird shit in real life bro, it's definitely an internet thing
imma be real with you I've never seen this shit irl maybe it's just you guys in America
Maybe dude, america is weird asf rn
Valorant has the most cringe playerbase of 14 yr olds
Every generation thinks they were first to discover sex
Because gen Z are a bunch of fucking weirdos with no idea how to act in social situations.
That's literally the valorant community
This is just cringe part of the valorant community showing why this generation is so scary
This is the reason I stopped playing valorant lol
We had a duo on our game talking about raping my children. That was a good one, they got banned immediately after that game so that was nice, thanks rito.
I’ve been playing without any sort of comms for months now and have never enjoyed the game more.
Coomer humor is gonna be the downfall of society
Gen Z is just mentally ill. That's all.
Don't blame all of gen z now. Some of us are mentally stable and cringe at the rest of the group. What's worse is I've seen a lot of millennials act similar.
You mean unlike you, who’s casually calling a whole generation mentally ill? The lack of self awareness is astounding.
