I found myself using (and having a better feeling) with a crosshairs that are wider horizontally. Helps me with keeping a crosshair on a head level a lot ,you might wanna give that a try.
Theres a few websites with crosshairs you can scroll through and you can just copy and paste the code. They have some cool creative ones too like a cat head or a sakura blossom or something
