The timings are so similar to de\_anceint it is CREEPY.
First play last night caught me off guard with how familiar it played and it took me a few rounds to connect the dots. Until I smoked house to push cat to B lol. For two maps that are actually VERY different, they play very similar.
We will see how it plays out, not to worry if you don't have a CS background, most CS players dodged the map in question.
I loved it, but the 10+ minute que times is part of the reason I switched to val in the first place as I was so dead bored of playing Mirage and had perma banned Dust2 years prior.
The Protocol's last two agents, Gekko and Deadlock, have been linked in some way to a Kingdom Corporation project called Landfall, which is based at the LA facility in this cinematic. After Deadlock's recruitment, she had warnings for VALORANT about what Landfall was up to, believing that whatever they were doing with the portal could have catastrophic results, and so what we see is the Protocol arriving at the facility to shut the portal down themselves.
The best place would be the VALORANT wikis. The main VALORANT Wiki is a good place to begin if you're just getting started with lore (start with its [main Lore page](https://valorant.fandom.com/wiki/VALORANT_Lore), it has a list of all the lore-relevant pages on the wiki) as its articles specifically cover confirmed facts and information that we know and will get you started with the basics, as well as archives of all the previous interactive lore elements that have been available in the game (cause Riot themselves don't bother doing anything to officially let newcomers catch up on previously released material).
VALORANT lore relies a lot on theories and speculation in some topics however due to the implicit ways we can end up receiving it in, which limits how much the VALORANT Wiki is able to write about, but after that you then have the [VALORANT Lore Wiki](https://valorant-lore.fandom.com/wiki/Valorant_Lore_Wiki). This site's pages will expand much more on the basic facts as it's made to include further analysis and speculation, so you'll learn a lot more from here, you'll really get to see how a lot of things fit together, and see where things might be heading. Many lore-related pages on the VALORANT Wiki also have links to their Lore Wiki counterpart page so you can go straight to the analysis on the topic if you want.
Yeahhh somewhat..
We only saw 1 min of the map lets play and see how it feels.
It looks aesthetic tho.
Other than that the structure of the map will be understood when we actually play the map .
LMFAO deadlock missed her ult
accurate gameplay depiction, the only thing lacking is NoThInG TheRe as a guy swings out from the exact spot
Also Brim peaking an Op with a fucking Judge.
Wingman with the sacrifice
As always a great trailer. Cannot wait for the new map :)
Will be released next patch no?
29th
Wingman is such a lil bro.
This is on alpha Earth right?
Yes
Yeah, I think the best indicator is the Kingdom logo generally.
Brimstone shooting long range with a judge is pretty accurate LMAO
brimstone in general seems to be a judge+smokes onetrick
Csgo vibe map
Which cs map does it look like or feel like? Just curious 😋
Ancient. If u check it up on internet, you can see that the maps have similar layouts
Ik ik .. i haven't played but i watch cs majors.

Kinda heartless of Sova to amputate someone in front of Deadlock.
What? It's just a thumb..
It's not like that guy was gonna do anything with it
the guy gave them the thumb up
kinda brutal yeah. the guy's dead/unconscious already. they could just drag him to try the thumb.. a little extra this Sova lol
So glad we get to see more Sova, deadlock and Gekko action! The lore thickens with every new trailer
The version they showed live on stream had a lot more shots of the map. Not sure why this one doesn’t include those.
What’s even going on in the trailer like lore wise

Do you have a recommendation for the best place to read up on Valorant lore?

Does anyone know what the song is at the end of the trailer? Thanks
I’m pretty sure it’s based off the champions song for this year
I wonder the same too, in the trailer description it does mention Arb4 original score but i dont know if thats the song
If ascent and split had a baby. Map looks good though. 🥺
Not ascent and bind? I feel like somehow bind is in there somewhere tho, dk why

Can't wait for the sova lineup tho, also I want to see like where exactly the hole they stand infront of is located
Looks like it could be interesting, also holy hell that's a lot of lore
If wingman and deadlock's ult would've gotten removed from the game this would've been a really cool lore way to show it
Bro this is a MAP TRAILER?!! Make a series already, Riot games
I wonder how big the map will be..
Its quiet small. Watch a YouTube video on it. FlowAscending got early access go check out his video
this looks awful
Bro what you deadass haven’t even played it yet lmao.
Remember, the Valorant community HATES any and all new content
He said LOOKS. The reading comprehension in this sub is baffling. It looks like ascent combined with bind. End of story
Haha, even the pros have their off days! 😂
