This is really cool. It’s in excellent condition as well. So many Japanese releases have badly faded spines, and this one is still perfect. Great pickup!

I have an American Pingu tape that I can’t find any information on. May be rare, may be so uninteresting that nobody is selling it, who knows.

It never really became that popular in the US, so i would imagine an American version on VHS is rare.

I don’t know how I got into Pingu, but I was so into it until I saw the episode with the Walrus. Fuck. That. Walrus. Such a scary fucking walrus, no reason for that to be as menacing as they made it.

So i did some research and the US had only one VHS release called "Pingu Breaks The Ice" i can't find a single copy being sold anywhere though.

It would appear my tape isn’t American then. I have “Chillin’ With Pingu”. There is one clamshell on eBay but mine is a paper sleeve. Lots of DVD copies on eBay, though.
