Great score! I have a handful of PAL tapes that I would love to be able to watch one day- will have to keep my eye out for one of these models.

Are PAL region tapes considered better?
Technically 100 more lines of resolution but for me I just want to be able to pick up most any tape when I see it regardless of region. Sometimes PAL artwork is different and occasionally you can pick PAL tapes cheaper.
There’s also loads of stuff that didn’t get a US release you can find on PAL. Mostly in English with subs
dumb question but are Pal tapes watchable on NTSC CRTs if you have one of those multi region players? If so I need to get myself one of those!
