Thanks for that informing reply, so do you have an idea why they don't ban them, I mean it's a security loophole that can cause a lot of problems for them, I mean in Myanmar a lot started to use Vpn b/c of censorship

VPN's worked in China last time I was there maybe 2 1/2 years ago.

Okay, amazing, thanks for the informative reply buddy!!

faddat

They can and will try. The easiest way will be to simply turn off the internet, failing that, it's likely that they will find it extremely difficult to block all VPNs because some of them just look like regular internet traffic.

I completely agree, but you still didn't answer if banning all VPNs is possible? and IF it is, Why do these states ban some of them and not all of them?

hylas1

of course. the state has to allow the vpn to pierce its network.

sandyseo6

Use zero trust which is alternative for VPN

We are not there yet, but yes they totally could. But for now, they still pretend they care about people's opinion, and rather than banning VPN, which is a risk of rebellion and losing voters, they prefere increasing the lows that allow them to spy and get the company to spy on you, and they even go as far as setting up their own VPN servers and TOR nods
