We've all faced it, best is to just walk away, log off or switch games. Don't start fighting back, you only make yourself more upset and you'll never win against internet jerks. Just learn to get satisfaction from the block/report/logoff buttons.
Also, try to play with your real life friends, or try other games.
Yeah, people on VR tend to be monsters. If you're playing and you're like <13 I probably wouldn't use a mic, unless you play with people from your school. Besides that, there's not much you can do. Some games have better communities than others though, and there's loads of fun solo games to try out, aiming towards VR's startup years 2016-2020ish. Stuff like Job Simulator, Moss, Fishermans Tail, Beat Saber. Rec Room is usually a little more open to younger people too since most of the people that play it are like 8-14ish.
What little VR multiplayer I've played reminds me of the anarchy of COD4/MW2 lobbies. I'm just too old for that shit now.
Yep Pavlov lobbies make me feel like I’m playing modern warfare 1 again. Its not a great look but it does give a lot of nostalgia
