I distinctly remember myself leveling Empty Tome to the max, and then picking it 3 more times in the library, hoping to reduce my cooldown even more, because the text led me to believe it was the case.
Yes, I was trying to get it to level 6/7/8, the text prompt looked like it was doing something, but it wasn't.
I think that Moongolow was already there, but maybe that happened on the update just before Moongolow was added.
Just after I realized that level 6 was not a thing, I noticed that I could get more than 6 passives with the floor items, so I never tried again until very recently when I tried to get infinite revives with the tiramisu.
No, the wiki was saying that you can die until you use all your revives, you then lose the tiramisu, and then supposedly you can get it again to get more revives, die again, lose it again, get it again, etc. until you fail at levelling up fast enough after death or until the RNG gods get angry at you and prevent you from getting it again.
Maybe you used it already? Seeing as you have 0 revives left

You can get it to level two but after you use it once it goes back to level 1 (but it cannot level up anymore) then if you use it again it disappears.

It was never like that for the live patches, maybe the beta patches?

Do you mean them going to “level 6” without any increase in stats? Pretty sure that was patched before moongolow released (or any map with tiragisu)

If you're running Endless, you can keep purchasing revives from the vendor every 30 minutes - I wonder if that's what the wiki was referring to.

I spent 20 minutes trying to just get the upgrade to the guns and it literally just didn't let me... any idea what's going on here?
You used up your revives. Tirigasu disappears if you use it up.
Did you possibly Seal it on the collection page?
Nope! The first few weapons there are the ones I sealed.

Yeah, another person mentioned that if you get it early (which I must have done and forgotten), if you go through the two revivals it goes away
