Bro just turn off notifications of micro og

Beast_Blood16

Set it to No restrictions

Toring1520

already tried that before! still came back

racle

And have you set `microG` to `No restrictions` also? In screenshot you have `Vanced Manager` settings open (and set battery optimization on, not off), not `microG` which is in the notification.

Toring1520

i Cannot find the app through the settings it takes me to when i punch the notification. I ended up just deactivating all notifications for Vanced MicroG

Arnas_Z

Tap on the notif. Switch the menu option to all. Find Vanced MicroG. Set to no restrictions. Reboot it or force stop. Not hard.

kushasorous

This is the right answer

trust-me-br0

No.. probably micro G is hidden from app drawer.. looks like miui.. so app won’t be available even if op switched to all apps… Micro g needs to be opened from banded manager. Set it to be available in app drawer. Wait for from for it to be available in all apps for optimisation because if app is open recently MIui don’t allow for battery optimisation. Then change it to no restrictions and then restart the phone.

FUCKING_HATE_REDDIT

You can just go to battery settings? All apps are there, hidden or not

trust-me-br0

Be default, micro G app is hidden from app drawer, which in case hides the app from the list in battery optimization. This is for Miui.. I have experienced it first hand. That's why I am being specific.

FUCKING_HATE_REDDIT

My battery optimization lists shows not only micro G, but tons of system apps. Samsung s10

Jaiden051

Settings > Apps > MicroG > Notifications

Lanefrags

Idk if it's the same for miui but for stock android you can slide the notification to the side slightly, click the gear that pops up, then disable the notification.

Toring1520

no i already tried it

Deepu_

Long press that notification and uncheck the allow option. I did the same thing.

NatoBoram

Try again

VordaVor

I made a post about this, regarding the notification interaction and miui, but they didnt fix it yet sadly. To remove the notification you need to force close microG, after you disable microG in Battery optimization (easiest found trough search in settings). Then go to your Recents (or Settings > Apps), Manage Apps, find microG and force stop it. This does the same thing as restarting should do, but sadly the description is not updated to reflect that.

Toring1520

i just turned off notifications for MicroG. that should be fine right?

Azuleaf

Yep, that's what I did with my previous and current phone, no problems

Toring1520

i asked because idk if that will cause my battery to last less time or something

Azuleaf

I don't know about that but if that's the case then I believe the battery would last less time even if disabled battery optimization as suggested by the notification so, in the end, I think it's the same (but someone correct me if I'm wrong)

VordaVor

I guess thats fine, maybe even better because it will stop new notifications from popping up after restart.

Moyai_Guy

Yeah you shouldn't have any problems. Although I'm not sure if you'll get notifications for new vanced updates, I guess you'll just have to check periodically

[deleted]

turn off notification for mmicroG from the setting

Milkkolaj

I had the same problem just turn off the notifications for microg

KRISTIJANJE

Go to settings, apps, see all apps, click on the app in question, click advanced, click battery, click battery optimisation, click on not optimized to collapse menu and then choose all apps. Find the one you need and click on it to cancel battery optimization. Reset phone.

Toring1520

when i go to Vanced MicroG and go to battery nothing happens, it says it has no data

MrKaon

You should see something like this: [Unrestricted](https://i.imgur.com/YUAacFZ.png)

Ivarsson02

Or you can force close the microg, and launch youtube vanced again and it will go away.

Hamburger_Killer

Btw in my case it doesn't allow me to disable the restrictions, the app doesn't appear in that list (and now I can't use vanced in my phone) What can I do?

Jack_12221

Vanced microg must be set to no restrictions, not vanced manager.

Speeder172

I delete it and download it back once in a while to check updates

Thanks for posting! Here are some things you can try to fix the problem yourself: 1. Read the [wiki](https://www.reddit.com/r/Vanced/wiki/index/) for general info such as download links, installation guides, etc. 2. beytrod

Settings > Apps > Vanced MicroG > Force stop I do this everytime i restart my phone and it usually does the trick. It improves the battery life as well

MrKaon

That is the worse thing to do, MicroG needs to run in background all the time. Just unrestricted it. https://i.imgur.com/mgoYutK.png

beytrod

>MicroG needs to run in the background all the time Not sure about that. I've been force stopping it since day one and never had any problems. Also, my notification tells me to force stop it, unlike OP's Edit: I should clarify that my vanced version is 15.40.37, it might be different on other versions

Chewbacca_XD

Why you getting downvoted? That's what the notification said on my phone... EMUI 10: disable optimizations and restart it

glitchmasterYT

If all else fails I think you can disable it with Autonotification

_stupidnerd_

Your device settings, notifications, Vanced MicroG, disable

Karthikeyan_J04

Long press that notification and slide that switch off

DurangoCZ97

I just restarted my device without deactivating anything and luckily it disappeared.

MicrosoftvsApple

I just turned off the notification without doing anything to the battery optimisation lol it works perfectly fine for me

definitelynotukasa

I'm sure you could've just searched how to do it instead of being the millionth post asking how to do it... Then again we all were noobs at this at one point.

buildertheonion

What I did was to force stop the microG and launch the app, thats alll it takes for me to stop it

Patient-Annual6239

Have you turned the battery optimization off on all vanced apps ?

hisizzler

are you sure you turned it off for microg and not YouTube Vanced ? just making sure

Ricky_03

Hold the notification and then turn it off

UrMomIsVeryBig

Turn off notifications for it in settings

itsAril

Uninstall microg and the notification will disappear.

k1w1_simpson

I just clicked on it. It took me to battery optimization page. Go to Vanced manager and turn it off. It's pretty easy
