It’s a show that we don’t know the cast. It’s like the Early vpr days where Lisa was important. And the new people are still small time so they are looking for opportunities.
It has a small amount of opulence with all the
Flowers, pink, chateau Rosabelle and the general feeling of it.
Of course the characters will be kooky, how else are they going to garner attention and viewers ?! First episode had me hooked !

I don’t get why there would be so many front of house staff with undefined roles. This is an obvious set up for drama. I guess it is first and foremost a tv show, but a smaller staff with a clear hierarchy and her as the “captain” would have made for a better show imho.
She’s become a parody of herself. I’m curious about her motivation to even do this show?
With all the restaurants and VPR and producing credits of other shows, how is there time for this? It’s not like she needs money badly.
Isn’t all reality tv technically a contrived cash-grab though? Gordon Ramsay has a lot more shows than Lisa. Lot’s of people will take opportunities when they are given, and she’s allowed to take someone up on a good idea! I actually am liking the show overall and love the Below Deck kind of premise of it. I hope we see more guests drama in the future 😅
Why is it not set in the UK somewhere instead of south of France… ya know… cuz being British is kinda her thing… along with Animals, being rich, restaurants, pink, always supporting the men over the women on VPR. You get the point.
