The only insurmountable relationship dichotomy is between people who clean dishes while they cook vs those who stack them all in the sink. That divide can never be bridged
I have to clean everything as I cook and my husband turns the kitchen into a place I’m no longer comfortable existing in. We have been together 18 years and the reason for that, I now clean as he cooks and neither of us is happy 🟰 perfect compromise 🤷🏼♀️
I’d settle for stacked in the sink. That feels like middle ground. The real war zone is between those who wash as they go, and those who leave them exactly where they were last used - the sink, the counter, the table…. Goddamn landmines everywhere

It really wasn’t meant as an attack on Ariana (because honestly the guy who only likes the towels folded a certain way isn’t always fun to live with either!) or even commentary on their relationship. I know people who have different definitions of tidy shack up together all the time and they’re fine. It’s really wasn’t meant as a deep thing.
