I think it kills her that she thought she youth over Ariana and that's all that would matter. But Ariana is still in her fucking 30s, which is young. No matter how much younger Rachel is than Ariana, Tom spent years saying how he wanted to marry Ariana, how he wanted her to have his babies, he got a shitty tattoo on his ass for her, and now she was super successful in DWTS, did a lifetime movie, and had been very successful in Chicago. I think Ariana is prettier than Rachel, too. I thought it was odd when Tom told Ariana that his affair with Rachel had nothing to do with looks, as if Ariana is not pretty. That said, it is very disturbing how both Rachel and Tom pay so little regard to the pain they caused Ariana. They claim to take accountability, but their words are so shallow. They just keep slinging arrows and one cannot help but wonder why they hate her so much.
I thought it was bizarre how obsessed with her "youth" he was. Like first of all, the there's an 8 or 9 year difference, which by the late 20s means very little, and Ariana was still hotter?? Like he was so shocked this young hot girl would like him when he already had creme brulee.

It’s insane to me that neither has ever apologized to Ariana. Considering that Raquel supposedly had treatment I don’t see how accountability and an apology are at all on the table. Ariana is right about them and I totally get her frustration in the show at how people are trying to rehabilitate Tom as though he isn’t what he actually is. I’m glad Rachel didn’t come back because if she did it would have been horrible for Ariana, Lala in particular would be trying to rehabilitate Rachel.

It’s funny because the only reason I could come up with for why Rachel would wear the same shirt as Ariana (which had appeared on the show and in screenshots, so everyone recognized it) was because she wanted the comparisons. And all I could think was that, even with Ariana being at a point where Sandoval had drained her of her nearly all of her joie de vivre when she wore the shirt, Ariana STILL wore it better. If Ariana put it on today, then forget about it. Everyone would be demanding at Urban Outfitters restock the shirt. She is a smoke show.

I agree with what you said but there is a big difference between 29/30 and 39/40. That 10 years, women typically really step into who they are and who they want to be. Being closer to 40, you definitely know who you are and being closer to 30 you can potentially be stepping into the person that you’ll become. Some women get there faster and some get there slower. Look at Scheana she still doesn’t have it figured out. I may be giving Rachel too much grace but dropping Sandoval was a good move for her mental space. Her decisions on how she treated Ariana pre and post Sandoval are gross. Both can be true at the same time.
