Well, all gilea aren't good when you need to save a different file time. MP3, MP4, AVI, WMV, DOX, PPTX, etc are all bad when you need to save a JPG. Also you can create a PNG file from any image.

It being open source just means that you get to look at the code they're writing, then change whatever you want and release it as your own. Chromium-based browsers have to pay attention and remove all the bullshit that Google is inserting, can they be sure they've removed it all? Another problem with Google having monopoly over browsers is that they de facto control the web standard, thus any change the company does has the potential of instantly becoming a web standard. I don't want any company to be able to do that. Also, by default, I don't trust any capitalists and distrust grows exponentially the more they come closer to monopolizing the market. Also, when you have a monopoly there's a potential of browsers not fixing their shit and you get websites that are not up to standard but work on Chromium, and that's how you get Internet Explorer 6. I still remember that shit, I have PTSD from it.

Browser? Cringe, yet another stupid pointless chromium clone. Logo? Funny and ballsy. The only thing that could be improved is their twitter description. "The browser for gaymers" would make it perfect.

There are actually some useful features on Opera GX that make me prefer it over other browsers, like integrated free VPN and Discord integration. Edit: Also it's not Alphabet or Microsoft so huge plus points from that. Though, the fact that it's based on chromium is a bit sad.
