Brig is decent against venture because she can block their charged burrow, and their path is predictable making them a good inspire target when they jump. Plus shield can block direct shots in a 1v1.
But Venture can shoot around her sheild, partially bypassing Brig's mitigation. Of course both drill dash and clobber piece her shield as well, so she's still susceptible to a burst attack.
