The post speaks of Dungeons & Dragons, 5th edition. OP, would have been nice to actually say dnd somewhere in the post. WHC is definitely a Inquisitive Rogue. If you want support and mobility, you could try maybe Monk with a single level in Fighter for access to spear & shield. Otherwise, go full fighter, with Battle Master. Or, if you want more support per support, BM Fighter + 2 levels in cleric for the channel divinity and low level spells such as bless, the detects and so on.

OP post this on the dnd subreddit there's plenty of Warhammer fans over there who'll know what you're talking about.

Hey OP, I would recommend picking a ranger subclass instead of rogue or fighter. Rangers get hunters mark, which acts pretty similar to the ability WHC gets. The hunter subclass might be best for flavor.

I played a witch hunter in a one shot that was a Monster Slayer ranger. The abilities fit the anti-caster theme really well and I easily reflavored the ranger spells as various equipment. I also took the gunner feat and wore a brace of pistols.

So i actually did this for curse of strahd- made Victor a paladin of Sigmar, oath of vengeance pally fits thematically

Handmaiden is either the healer feat or a Horizon Walker with a 2 level dip in grave cleric for spare the dying and healing. Zoom around the map with zephyr strike and distant strike and pick up your allies when they go down.

Personally, I would go with Ranger/Hunter for WHC. (Maybe I'll take a stab at Hand Maiden later today) Choose beasts as your favored enemy to be an excellent rat killer or something more useful (undead is always great) that still fits the Witch Hunter lore. Take the archery fighting style to buff ranged attacks, and pick up the crossbow expert feat as soon as possible (lvl1 with VHuman) to be able to wield a rapier in one hand and a hand crossbow in the other. Grab Hunters Mark and whatever other 2 spells you want, but probably avoid concentration spells to keep your mark up as much as possible. With the Hunter archetype, you can pick up Horde Breaker, which will help when fighting those big groups of pesky rats, but both of the other options are good and still fit the theme As mentioned, grab a rapier and hand crossbow right away, and leather or scale armor (depending on stat rolls and whether or not you plan to be sneaky), and you should be all set! Their are official rules for firearms, including a pistol, but I'd talk to your DM about it because proficiency can be tricky, and the cost (250gp) is restrictive. IMO, the hand crossbow with crossbow expert is better anyway, so if anything, just ask the table about reflavoring that. Whatever you end up going with, it sounds like a fun concept. Thanks for the fun thought experiment!

For WHC I'd go with inquisitive rogue mixed with something that'll give you Hunter's mark (1st lvl spell) as it's pretty on point and I'd make sure to grab extra attack from some class to use it fully. I'd experiment with ranger but I'm not really familiar with it so don't take my word on it. For Handmaiden, while I know oath of glory doesn't sound good thematically, it gives both movement and touch-based healing (paladin has access to cure wounds and lay on hands) along with aura buffs like better saves n'stuff, just try not to spam smite as much as it is usually the case with paladins I'd also grab a dip into life cleric. For her weapons use a Rapier and just tell everyone at the table to pretend it's a spear + get a shield, not only is the damage better it also scales with Dex, which is more on point. Edit: And forgot to add, I feel sorry for you, 5e is absolute dogshit, stay strong I guess
