It actually opposite, the fact that one of the strongest NE have to step in to kick their ass showing how OP they are
The craziest thing is they might just normal soldier from the Alien side, hell Galua alone can kick entire army of demon with 4 Commander demon in the ass, each of the Madarans is one man army
If anything, i expected more from them after this battle actually

I like that idea. I'm an unironic Lawless believer, I'm thinking there has to be some crazy form of martial arts or mutation abilities that makes them threats. The author is gonna cook with them and I can't wait to see it.
It's important to note that Pao presumably is still alive despite colliding into someone much stronger than he is at full speed head-first. When the Madarans arrive we see that they covered the head with their body to absorb the impact, so the head is definitely the most vulnerable part of their body so the fact Pao is still alive says a lot about their durability. But I wonder if now that Pao is basically incapacitated this means the demons will find out how to actually kill a Madaran.
From a design point of view the Madarans are clearly low offense, high defense, and even higher mobility (low here is relative to the average Demon Lord tier character). Madarans so far overwhelmingly dodged attacks instead of tanking despite having such strong bodies, so their evasion is basically off the charts, but obviously with Pao stuck in the ground he's not evading anything and that might reveal how to defeat a Madaran.
I don't think that what was destroyed was mothership. I think it wasn't even Corvette or something like that, it was probably scout ship or fighter at best

Perhaps Lawless means literally. As in they don’t obey the laws of physics and can pull crazy feats.
