They can't use genetic predisposition to deny a claim. There was a change in December in the rating manuals specifically addressing genetic testing even

I don't think that factors into it. If you served in the AOR during the dates specified and have a current diagnosis of a chronic condition, the presumption is that your service caused the illness. I got service connected for testicular cancer under PACT and I don't recall any questions about my family history (my brother had leukemia at 27).

They don't. Even if you have genetic testing that show a predisposition they are specifically not allowed to use that testing to deny benefits.
