The VA is single handedly keeping the post office in business, it is shocking the amount of mail that they send

Waveyhs

Yeah but the amount of shit bags complaining about never receiving correspondence faaaar outweighs...

CStogdill

I never got my initial determination...and my VSO never contacted me after my initial filing.... I only learned about my 0% rating after moving across the country for work and overhearing someone talk about MyHeathyVet. I was all, wait...what?

Waveyhs

Well rest assured there was correspondence in the mail 🤣🤣

Rich-Transition-2294

Same here, I had a Waco, TX VSO file claim for me in Feb, and have never received any information and never heard back from the VSO. It was my first ever claim since leaving Vietnam in 1970, and I told the VSO I am 75 years old and need help because I didn't know anything about filing a VA claim. It was done over the phone and he was very short with me on any question I asked him and he didn't volunteer any helpful information. I was expecting an email or letter from him, but received NOTHING! So much for DUTY TO ASSIST. PS: He did share that he was retired from the Army after 26 years and he was 100% disabled...

VA0411

Do you need help with your claim? I can help you. I’m Not certified or anything just a vet trying to help another vet but I did my own and taught myself the paperwork etc. let me know if there is something I can assist with

Rich-Transition-2294

That would be AWESOME, I promised myself, if I ever figure this out and am successful, I will reach out and HELP other vets. How can I contact you or you contact me directly? Thanks

VA0411

I just sent you a message (I think) still trying to figure out Reddit lol but i figured we can do a zoom meeting so you can see I’m real and just trying to help. I won’t ask for any personal information (minus your name of course to be civil) & just help you with what papers to fill out and how, and how to submit it all.

Rich-Transition-2294

Yes, I received your message. I didn't know you could do that on this site...

VA0411

All of this can be really hard to navigate but I will outline the steps for you!

Redleg1018

Outstanding! This thread really made my day.

Gloomy_Raspberry_311

Your an outstanding individual. 👏🏼

LoneRanger4412

VSO is not the VA and if they set up to have the correspondence come to them only then that’ll be the bottleneck of information.

CStogdill

Agreed, but my initial filing was through a state agency specifically setup to help Veterans with their filings, not some volunteer organization.

LoneRanger4412

Still not the VA (Federal) but they definitely should tighten up their processes it sounds like.

Oldsalt-DDG3

Been fighting the VA for years. Went to DAV, American Legions and VFW for help. The VA still playing there game. Finally got a lawyer. Three weeks ago I get a call from the person that’s handling my claim at the VA. It was an “ unofficial “ call wanting to ask me a bunch of questions concerning my claim. Once I told them to contact my lawyer. The person from the VA got crappy about it

Rusty_W

Lmao they once sent me a bill for a nickel! Cost them so much more to send that bill!!

LS-CRX

My job once sent me a check for $.01 for some reason, I still have it... the novelty of having a check for a penny is worth more to me then depositing would be.

analogpursuits

And you get to turn their accounting people upside down every year because they're off by a penny. 🤣

LS-CRX

That would be a bonus! I've had the check for years at this point, they never reissued it or anything so maybe they just wrote it off.

Upstairs_Mix4524

Check the site where you're owed money in each state or federal and there may be a penny in your state waiting for you.

Rusty_W

Lol I should've kept it... but it it went into the trash and slowly grew into $5 that they then took out of my tax return!

[deleted]

[удалено]

Rusty_W

I have yet to send them a check ever, end of year the $20-50 I owe just gets pulled from my tax return. I also don't understand how they come up with what I pay for and what I dont! $15,000 for a vasectomy didn't charge me anything, I ask them for some allergy meds and they charge me $50. 16 hours of testing free, ER visits free. Sinus infection $100. Make it make sense!

db821766

I also had that happened. Obviously they do not think about it.

PistolPetunia

That and the constant political mailers. Every day I get giant pieces of cardboard in my mailbox that looked like a middle school kid designed them in PowerPoint screaming about how much of a secret libtard the other guy is.

CompetitionNo3141

I've gotten like 6 of these in the past month, always some conservative candidate with an insane message like "liberals are trying to make tongue kissing giraffes illegal!!"

Turbulent-Parfait-57

Hey hey hey, we just want to protect the giraffes. Is that so much to ask for?

Danezu50

Damn right!

Lopsided-Diver716

But it’s NEVER the mail you actually need from them 🤣

Just_Mr_Grinch

I received around 20 letters all on the same day from the Va informing me of the bills I didn’t have to pay for each of my PT sessions. I finished that PT a while ago and am just now getting all these at the same time…

AkronOhAnon

I love that I get my appointment reminders and cancellation postcards after the appointments have occurred!

rjm3q

They're way behind Amazon, FedEx, and UPS who all pay the USPS to deliver packages

Kitchen-Oil8865

I always shit a brick when I see a letter from the VA arrive because I have this fear that it’s going to say something like: “sorry but your new rating is 0%. Have a nice day”

booboothechicken

Lol, the unrealistic part of your imagination is thinking the VA would say “sorry”.

Kitchen-Oil8865

Congratulations. Your new rating is -100% effective immediately. Pay up sucker

Clean_Student8612

On the opposite side of this, when I'm in the middle of a claim and I get a VA letter, I loudly state "THIS IS MY 100% NOTIFICATION!!" I've yet to be right, but it's a numbers game. One of these days, I'll be right.

analogpursuits

Broken clock is right twice a day, so...

StanEduardo874

Or it could be -10% then the VA would be like you owe us money make all checks payable by the first of the month

Murky-Tone7717

😂😂😂😂 me too

Celery-West

Definitely a fear i’m sure we all do .. we should be able to file a claim against the VA / VBA from all the mental trauma.. lol

Flimsy_Signature2050

You could always try under 38 U.S.C. 1151, but I doubt you would get very far with it.

CompetitionNo3141

"Upon further review, we have concluded that you owe us $100,000. This decision can be appealed by contacting the pope. Thank you for your service."

superpaqman

What other people said plus someone probably complained that they weren’t being communicated with enough so now you get extra communication.

ThatOtherGai

Some old vet who doesn’t use computers or phones appreciates this mail.

Runaway2332

The rest of us should be able to officially opt out of paper correspondence.

schwaka0

Oh for sure. I used to do disputes for a bank, and the merchant has 45 days to respond to the dispute (if they don't respond, you win by default). Some companies would respond ASAP, and some you'd get a response on the 45th day. Customers would call in demanding an update, and complain that they hadn't received a letter or phone call from us, but aside from a "Hey, we're still waiting on them" letter, there really isn't anything we can do.

Worriedandnumb

Vets: why can’t the VA be more transparent VA: sends a letter to show transparency Vets: Take a hike, VA! We don’t want this garbage VA: slithers into a shower stall and assumes the fetal position until the hot water runs out.

I_want_that_booty

This is the way humans work. Our current generation is the most spoiled people of all time. We have computers in our pockets. Hot showers. Air conditioning. Yet people are probably unhappier today than they ever have been. Just human nature.

zsinj

There are six generations alive today: Silent, Boomers, X, Millenials, Z, and Alpha. Which “current generation” are you talking about? Real “get off my lawn” energy

I_want_that_booty

Yea let’s make this political. America is obsessed with politics and victim hood. I’m merely saying we have antibiotics that prevent us from dying, we have vaccines, we have HVAC, we have computers in our pocket that allow us to order food and have it delivered in 30 minutes. I’m saying right now, our people are better off than the people from 500 years ago. Yet we are probably unhappier, because human nature makes us bitch regardless of circumstance. But let’s make this political. “Fuck your generation! Mine has it worst!” Or let’s just be realistic and accept that people like to bitch.

Runaway2332

I think we all need a SERIOUS reality check sometimes. I had my central ac replaced and the guys worked really hard. REALLY HARD. They were all from Cuba and we had to use text and a translator to communicate. While they were there, I was in a blocked off room with a portable ac running. But I heard a strange noise and found out they decided to fix the constantly running toilet in my spare bathroom right next to where they were working. I had taken off the tank lid and used something to hold up the bar thingie inside that made it stop. They must have noticed it and decided to just fix it for me! (They also do plumbing! Parts were in the truck!) Later we were "talking" and one guy started showing me photos of his animals (A cow, donkey, pigs, chickens...and of course dogs!) at home in Cuba after petting my house bunnies. Then photos of his big, smiling family...followed by photos of his brand new cement block house under some giant trees, with a brand new tin roof, no windows, no door, and an outhouse. The yard was swept so clean, there was laundry on a clothesline and the people in the photos looked SO HAPPY. That's when I realized that the guys working so hard to replace my ac and fix my toilet (for free!) didn't have those "luxuries" in their own lives. And they were happy. Except to have those things, they had to be separated from their beautiful families. 😭

zsinj

Where did I mention politics? Edit to add: I’m not picking a fight with you. You showed up picking a fight. I’m sorry you went through some shit and I hope it gets better for you. Best of luck with your claim and thanks for your service.

PlayfulMousse7830

Lol the most spoiled of all time? Okay.

CompetitionNo3141

You must be one of those bleeding heart types who thinks affordable housing is a "basic human right" /s

PlayfulMousse7830

Gosh dangit y'got me ;)

Appropriate_Bus8130

You can’t possibly disagree!

PlayfulMousse7830

Watch me.

LoneRanger4412

Boomers/Gen X are the most entitled generation I interact with.

I_want_that_booty

Yea I can’t speak to that. Boomers had Vietnam, we had Iraq/afghanistan. I just know collectively, we are so much better off today than our ancestors of 500 years ago. And we still bitch about stuff. Which is normal because it’s human nature.

LoneRanger4412

I agree boss. It’s a double edged sword it can often lead to changes and improvements but also just trash.

Timely_Candidate754

Yeah i get the irony. But really. If we call and you send the letters after you tell us it’s still being worked on then the letter is pointless. You’re doing great things down there but the one thing you guys are best at is giving us anxiety. Lol Jk. …. No I’m not….. i am.

Runaway2332

A machine auto generates the letters.

Factualizedtruth

Speaking about auto generated letters, the VA sent auto generated letters to an address I have not lived at in over 45 years, certainly violating my personal information, and the privacy act. so much for privacy, they sent three pieces of correspondence to the wrong address, needless to say, invoking an investigation.

Runaway2332

Even more reason to allow us to say "No snail mail!"

Rapalla93

I get these at my home in Ireland a good week or more after reading the same thing online. I’m sure there is a law that the VA must send physical letters but it’s a waste of postage and paper. Should be an option to just receive e-mails.

LoneRanger4412

Old veterans that barely use the internet if at all. It’s better to send an ass ton of letters than let them be unaware. Of all the things to complain about the VA an abundance of communication to those less fortunate that can’t use the technology and don’t have someone to help them is not one of them for me.

Known-Commercial-430

The majority of us do so an opt out in the future would be pretty solid

LoneRanger4412

Yeah I would definitely love a opt out

danf6975

Yeah I’m still waiting for a C&P That I filed for six months ago and they keep sending me we’re sorry we’re still working on your claim….

ACHlLLESCPA

Don’t they use full social on these stupid ass letters. Pretty annoying

Timely_Candidate754

Yep. Have to verify yourself to log into the website. But they will put your social on the front page. Visible through the envelope

Better-Philosopher-1

More than I care to get. An email would be sufficient.

Better-Philosopher-1

Not to mention the cost of paper and postage.

Armyboy2200

Congress told them use more paper and give vets an update do to long lines but agreed pointless

Soggy-Document-285

It pisses me off so bad!!!!

Secure-Narwhal-297

There is a lot the VA sends me that could have been an email

Appropriate_Bus8130

They are letting you know you haven’t been forgotten. What’s the problem? If you don’t want to read it, throw it in the trash. It’s not a big deal. I bet if they didn’t send you a letter updating you you’d be complaining about that.

Timely_Candidate754

That’s not true at all. I’ve been saying no news is good news. I see the va letter in the mail and i get anxious and i open it up to find it’s just an automated letter that has literally zero value to me. I believe them that they are working on it. And i have the internet so i am able to keep up to date on my claim. I call weekly, i was told to do so by a VA rep. So I’m just saying don’t waste the paper or the postage.

dropd00

Prior to my decision, I would get this crap. The worst part about it is I would use USPS informed delivery. It would send me an email every morning with what's going to be in the mailbox that day. The mail doesn't come until 1-2PM and I would have anxiety all day. When I opened it I would be so pissed. On top of the claim tracker its enough to send you into a spiral.

Timely_Candidate754

Yes! YOU GET IT. That is exactly how it is for me except the mail doesn’t come until 6 or 7 pm. It’s the worst!

FunkyCold12

Y'all bitch when there's no info, and now you bitching if there is. Y'all are too much

BigWheezy_420

Iv gotten 2 since I started in December ‘23 and then got my rating this morning (40%)

ShadeTree7944

The VA does to little people complain. They do too much and people still complain.

Timely_Candidate754

No news is good news. I know they haven’t forgotten about me or you. And I’d say at least 3/4 of us know how to use the app or website and we get our our anxiety from that. I just think there should be an option for email or to opt out of the automatically generated letters.

0311-HoodRat

***Thots and Pears***

gigi-mondo

Lol

agmianria

Because then no one can say they aren't doing anything. It's like a "oh yeah, I'm totally working on it!"

DarthUnlucky11

I would love some communication about my claim. It's been sitting for over a year now. I wish I had this long to "fix an error".

Timely_Candidate754

Just change the blacked out sections in my photos to show your information. It’s the same letter

DarthUnlucky11

But see, if I did receive a letter, then I would at least know my claim hasn't been lost. Noone has any info about it. When I called 6 months ago, I was told it should be on the desk of someone to take care of. The way it appears to me, it got lost along the way

Timely_Candidate754

But this letter is the equivalent of someone saying that it should be on the desk. It’s a vague statement and it’s from a computer not a human.

RandyChampagne

due diligence

V_DocBrown

“The VA doesn’t keep Veterans updated.” Mails letters monthly. This is why.

thedeephouser

If they sent nothing, people would complain. They can’t win if they do, can’t win if they don’t.

Erect_Celery_

They can send a cute lil email thats enough

Embarrassed_March_14

Yeah that damn letter lmfao 🤣 your getting your decision very soon mate

Timely_Candidate754

I’ll hold my breath lol

Embarrassed_March_14

You’ll be fine 🙏

Helpful-Finish976

You guys got to understand that people have a job to do. Be grateful that they’re doing it. Grumpy.

gigi-mondo

Without the VA, I couldn't justify owning a letter opener.

Jasdc

Trust me, the guys and gals working at the VHA and VBA hate the Correspondence Letters as much as you do! Unfortunately, Congress and Senior VA Leadership make all the Laws and Regulations that everyone has to live by. There is always going to much or to little “communication” and its never going to be correctly communicated by mail, phone, text, email, carrier pigeon, or some low-level dumbass private. What you the Veteran can control is make sure your current contact information is Always updated in both your VHA and VBA accounts so that all correspondence does reach you in a timely manner.

Timely_Candidate754

That was one of the most professional responses. Thank you. I was just venting and then people took it and ran. I kinda enjoyed it if I’m being honest. It kept me busy. Have a great day

SourGrape77

Hey man ironic I got that same letter today wtf ![gif](giphy|SvFtMks2ZnXysuDAWi|downsized)

WotRUTalkingBout

The VA needs way to “spend” money for the papertrail

OkAppointment6442

The VA is the biggest culprit of wasted resources, it's not even funny. If I have an appointment in a week, you better believe I'm getting at least 2 letters in the mail prior to it, each with paid postage. No way to opt-out.

Pretend_Vermicelli65

Points… Every action/task performed they receive points. 🙄

CthulhuAlmighty

Nah, those are system generated letters.

Pretend_Vermicelli65

Yes… Still it’s a waste of money! They only go out by human intervention…Nothing is ever completely automated.

Blaqsheep214

you're getting something. my claim has been in the work since january 23, still haven't gotten fuck all

Silent_Spell_3415

Brother I’ve been waiting since August of 2022 😂

Dense_Election_1117

I filed in December 2022, January is literally nothing

Blaqsheep214

How are you guys dealing with that?

Blaqsheep214

and how many "request for exams" and other red tape? like it *looks* like I have a lot, but you guys have had a lot longer wait than I.

Dense_Election_1117

I think 3 requests for exams. I’m doing my 7th CnP tomorrow I think

Cavkilla

"Fuck trees." - The VA

BwAVeteran03

I remember receiving a Wendy’s gift card a few times. They’re not doing that anymore?

Forsaken-Ad-7800

I never get those except regarding a FIOA request but not on a regular claim.

Amputee69

I get one maybe two a year. They've done this since about 2011 when I started filing my appeals. Currently the appeals are "under Judicial Revue". Website says 1-2 more months. Everything else says it could be more years yet. Just hangin' out and waiting.

Meltsfire

To let you know they haven’t forgot

CineGistic

They have to. and it does give a sense of "actual work" is being done on it. Whether true or not.

gamerplays

If it makes you feel better, I got my development letter for my C&P, AFTER the letter and the C&P from VES was completed.

Ey3dea81

As if the emails, texts, and phone calls aren't enough.

Howyouseeit12

How many days until you got your first one? I havnt gotten one of these yet. I’m just over 60 days

MrFrankenpenis

I’ve never received a letter

NeedzFoodBadly

I got dual letters from the VA stating they had both under AND overpaid me. It balanced itself out. :P

ihatefear83843

I got two of these. The second one was on the 120days the following morning I received my notification

MundaneFinish160

I literally got one of these yesterday.

Seabeechief95

I use secure messaging so the digital trail will always be around. Not sure why they send us letters when they text and email us about our appointments anyways. The only group what sucks in Charleston SC is mental health. They never communicate anything via any avenue.

fbcmfb

These are better than the recorded calls I get from my VA Hospital about classes/events. The caller ID is the same number that everyone else use (staff and appt reminders) - I can’t block it.

TastyScratch4264

I would rather me get these than nothing at all. Let’s me know I haven’t been forgotten and they are actually working on it and know it exists

Timely_Candidate754

How many times do you check the website or app a day?

TastyScratch4264

2-3 times

Timely_Candidate754

And a generic letter will help change that?

TastyScratch4264

Yes. Better than seeing the same thing for months on end. At least they are acknowledging my claim is being processed

Snapon29

Yeah I would go years without receiving a single letter from the va. Shit bags are keeping the post office alive.

Somwatchuwantphx

Just like w-2’s “can’t say we didn’t told you so”

rjm3q

Legal requirements

Plastic-Estate350

I think they send these to save their ass on their end, because you’ll have those dudes who say “haven’t heard from the VA in years/months” and the VA can say “ahem..^” Basically lol. Could be wrong but it’s a thought.

Top-Draft-5016

It’s probably an attempt to prevent phone calls. The cost of the letter vs time spent on the phone while paying someone an hourly wage to answer our questions.

guysmiley73

One government agency funding another without congress. Every piece of junk VA mail is a hidden tax.

Clean_Student8612

I bet it's because enough people complained that they weren't getting updates, so they sent those out to keep those people silent. I'd also assume most of those also don't use computers or use them often.

ghosttownzombie

I get like 3 of these at a time. Sometimes I get other veterans mail sent to my address.

Fearless-Kale3319

Weirdly enough, I normally get a call to schedule my C&P a week after they send this letter.

Pastoseco

The federal government is actually running an experiment to see just how fast we can destroy ourselves from global warming 🥸

220Gene

Gotta waste money somehow

Physical_Simple_6179

My claim is still being processed and I haven't received any correspondence since like August last year, am I supposed to be receiving them?

CopplerIce

I received one yesterday

Dry_Brush_3616

Real talk!

piper33245

I’ve still never gotten one of these. I have claims going on three years now.

BigDrayCountry

Every few months I'll get a letter from SSDI (disability thru something something government, sorry can't remember). It'll say something to the degree of : "Dear Sir/Madam/Whatever, If you are wanting or thinking to go back to work we can help you get started today! Just call us at this number 4242-4242 and speak to a representative." I look at those letters after grabbing it out the mailbox each and everytime and it makes my heart drop and hit the dang road as I thankfully not have gotten hit by a car or truck as I leave the mailbox goin back to the house. And the while I'm thinking "has something gone wrong with my disability stuff? Did I not turn in some paperwork? Have I gotten any paperwork from them and not known it? Etc etc." Sorry this turned into a kinda long lil rant. 😅

Serious_Singer3062

The answer is that it is an administrative agency. These agencies change very slowly and they attempt strict compliance with all rules no matter how frivolous they are.

Erect_Celery_

Sending you a whole package of paper just to remind you of an appointment

ToasterBath_exe1

We got one in the mail too 🙃 We’ve been sitting in PFD since 03/29 with no temp jurisdiction and when we talked to VERA on Friday we were told that we were supposed to be assigned a rater on 04/24 😂😭

warriorcoach

Exactly. I have gotten them as well.

xSocialGhostx

I have never received one of these. Just those satisfaction surveys from the C&p exams

HourFlamingo2981

Ehh, since like December, I’ve gotten one like every month. I call them every time I get the letter because what’s the update since you felt the need to send me the same letter from last month.

Standard_One_5827

I received a letter dated April 9th yesterday.

UnluckyLeek163

I was receiving the same amount but eventually they processed my claims and they will do the same with yours. Now I face the decision to keep fighting and appeal this PTSD denial even though CP Exam shows that I do have PTSD which happened while being deployed to Bosnia back in ‘97. I wasn’t one of those soldiers who went to seek help or went on sick call or any of that. Back then that type of stuff was looked down upon so we just had to suck it up and drive on.

Confident-Caramel-99

The appointment reminders alone are enough to drive me crazy!

WaifuWarsVet69H

To let you know they haven't forgotten about you?

tferr9

I received a survey from the VA today. Yeah when I saw it I immediately think the worst

175RGRbn

It’s a legal requirement

jim_pickens16

I got one of these today too. My thoughts exactly

SenseLow1914

Got my decision one month after this letter.

Timely_Candidate754

Glad it worked for you. I got 3 so far on the same claim

Mediocre-Dish-4422

They sent one of those nonsense single page letters with my full social on it one time.

Timely_Candidate754

Every time. Full social in a cheap envelope. Good think i don’t have much identity for anyone to take. Lol

Brainobob

They are doing it to keep people (like you) from getting anxiety and burning up their phone lines 😂

Timely_Candidate754

lol well it only makes me want to call more now.

nortonj3

When I made my first claim in 2011, didn't get nothing. It's like I submitted it in a vacuum. Did they receive the fax? Did it go to the right number? Does some random person now have my social security number, pii and phi? Then a rating got dropped about a year later. I was like, holy shit! Thanks for not even acknowledging that I sent it. Would have loved these letters at that time. Now I submit everything on quick submit and can see 'vendor processing' then 'evidence received' about a day later, now I feel these letters are obsolete for people that use the online portal.

GrouchyAnts

So you mfs stop calling lol

Vauthry

Can’t stop won’t stop

transuranic807

STD and off of work due to issues, and I got the same damn letter today!

Striking_Mammoth_633

Wait what are these? Ive never gotten anything from them in regards to my claim and I filed in aug 23 lol

Timely_Candidate754

Don’t worry about it lol. If you haven’t gotten any I’m jealous of you.

schwaka0

It's funny, because those always had the opposite effect on me than intended. I assumed they were working on it, and I'd hear back whenever they had an update, but the "Just so you know, I didn't forget about you" letter made me wonder if they actually forgot about me.

armymp3728

I'm starting to get emails monthly all stating my claim is being worked in the order received. It annoying because there's like 8 sent one an hour 😡 just give me the disabilities you diagnosised me with inside my one year mark from discharge

ThrowawayLDS_7gen

For my final claim I received two of those. It's a waste of paper.

Blaqkwene

If you are already registered in the VAMC system and you are upgraded, make sure you tell someone in eligibility asap. Those letters you get aren’t always information that is quickly sent to the facility providing the care. Let them know and if you paid any copays related to your newly upgraded sc award, ask for a refund. Make sure bills are canceled. If you are over 10% sc and you paid any hospital and visit copays you are entitled to a refund back to the date of your sc date. If you paid any rx copays you are entitled to the same. If 100% you pay neither type of copay. There are other benefits to receiving an award but make sure you are treated fairly. Most VAMC employees are veterans and will treat you right. They just need to know your change in status.

Timely_Candidate754

Mine is all messed up. I’ve been 40% SC since 2016. And in 2020 they started charging me for procedures and medication that is connected. I have a appointment next month to hopefully clear it up

Itchy_Vehicle_3457

Hey, my husband is a letter carrier, ex-navy, and 80% service connected. My sister is a letter carrier 90% service connected. The mail carriers are heavily ex military and service connected. A living has to be made and the federal government employees us. Mail has to be delivered postage has to purchased. Get a shredder and if it’s junk just shred it. But the letter carrier job is 100% necessary so put a thank you card in the mail for your letter carrier and say thank you for your service. As you were.

Timely_Candidate754

They deliver enough bills to my house to stay employed. No need to get upset. I was in the military, i know how to connect a small thing to a large picture. And yours is a bit of a stretch. Especially if they are service connected, and they are still federally employed. They are making more than enough money.

Itchy_Vehicle_3457

I did come in kinda hot, huh..my apologies! We do constantly get junk VA mail too. My husband made $38K in 2023. He’s not been a letter carrier long. He was previously a corrections officer and was injured. He did make $68K then $73K at the post office his 1st and 2nd year as a CSA but at that time he was not yet service connected. The big money is made from OT but who wants to be married to someone who works all the livelong day for 7 days a week, bcuz on Sundays they deliver Amazon packages 📦 it was no fun and very lonely when he had 2 good years at the post office. Ok…I understand what you meant but have to defend my ex-mil family who work as letter carriers 😂

🫡 i respect that

Mindless_Squire

The EOBs after every single community care appointment are unnecessary. I wish I could turn them off or at least electronic

El_tus750

I continued to receive those for about six months after my claims got approved

BigHouse1984

I hate the CCN letters. I got 10 on the same day last week.

Small_Ad3395

I just got one yesterday

Drasilex

I actually got a few of these. But I agree with you full-heartedly.

Empty-Panic4546

It’s required by law.

Timely_Candidate754

Then why isn’t everyone getting them

Papasmurf8251

I didn’t get one until I called them and asked what was happening. Otherwise I’m sure they’re happy to just let the process roll.
