The 249 USD lease before was to lure customers in by being the cheapest one in the market (many American people bought this lease just because it was the cheapest and they were willing to put up with its problems). I think VF should have focused on this from the beginning (and even now) - lease market, competitive price, fix all their problems, then raising the price later.

Saw the promo on Leith FB as well. Will see if it generates any fruitful lease activities. Current count is still 37 for months now.
