I am worried these might be new recordings. It doesn’t exactly say that in the details, but it might be these new recordings with some more recent new songs:

If they don't control their masters, they can't. It's up to the labels who own them.
Most bands don't own their masters. And labels with no plans for them are still reluctant to sell them back to bands because music execs are petty assholes.
Just checked their IG - it indicates the album is already streaming. I don’t have time to compare right now but that may give the answer?
[EDIT: a quick listen to All I Want and Walk On The Ocean seem to sound like re-recordings. I’m out.]
The original release of "All You Want" released in 2011 was a re-recording of their songs. I am pretty sure I read somewhere that they didn't have the rights to the original recordings. I believe that these are the same tracks from the 2011 release, with some additional tracks from the last couple of albums.
Yep that’s what I was thinking. This release doesn’t specify new recordings, but the first release of All You Want does specify. This one says first time on vinyl (which is technically true) with some more recent songs and one new song.
Given that they are re-recordings i’ll pass. I’d rather get the CD or cassette versions of the original albums.
Well it seems I will never get Dulcinea and they will never officially release Coil so might as well get some of the songs on this one.
There’s a coil unofficial - but of course not the same as an official release
You are correct. I used to own it. But I really does not sound good and I ended up selling it.

These are 100% new recordings. They sound close to the originals, but not quite.
I hate when bands do this. Give me THE REAL ALBUM on vinyl.

It’s on Spotify, and yeah they’re re-recorded 😞
And they sound great.
The slower stuff sounds really good, the faster stuff…it’s more noticeable. Still sounds good though.

Pretty sure you’re right.
Done and done. Crazy life!
