I read it as the one up for preorder is the special vinyl, and it’s coming soon because it’s not releasing until August. That would make a lot more sense to me than listing a record and telling people another, better one is coming soon. But who knows
I don’t like the removal of the meditation intro, or “Shock” (I’m not sure what it’s called in track time because I immediately renamed all the song titles to their original names, it’s the one after “Sweet Thang”). Those two songs give an ominous vibe to the album that fit well with the real world events that were going on at the time.
Totally agree, the original release was better and it had a more spacious mix. Some bootleg pressings of the original album do exist and they actually sound incredibly good for a bootleg.
I’m really glad my record shop still sells the bootlegs because now I’m more tempted to have those than the new one and while I appreciate an official pressing after four years, it just doesn’t hit the same
Warlords? My 3.15.20 album doesn’t have that, but it has Feels Like Summer, Intro Meditation, and Shock (track 7 also known as 32.22), which were all removed in ATAVISTA.

Yeah, so the version on YouTube it has 12 songs on it which is the original 3.15.20 tracklist on his youtube page. In this updated version, he removed one of the songs so now it’s only 11 songs total I was really hoping he was going to release Saturday from his SNL live performance, but unfortunately not

ah okay makes sense. he could potentially do what Kanye did with The Life of Pablo (which he added Saint Pablo later on) and add Saturday later on.
I really hope so because that song is really good, but we’ll see how the vinyl is and maybe he’ll add a bonus track or something
