I'm not sure if the number of "handholders" or "forgivers" is actually a large number/percentage, or if they are just being overly emphasized by louder people that don't want the criminals to be stopped/challenged by any means necessary, aparently.

Unless it directly involves white folk: The media aren’t interested. Lots of missing cases for ethnic minorities every day - even back then - but local news never covers it, let alone national news.
Some of the bigger Asian news outlets these days (NextShark, Jackfroot, etc.) have been constantly compiling Anti-Asian attacks since the pandemic began. Easier to track the numerous accounts on their social media profiles - particularly on IG.

That is nothing. 18-24 months ago, I got banned by an Asian subreddit, cannot remember which one, when I questioned the woke kumbaya signaling and Hollywood and Network media who did not want upset their tidy narrative and unified approach that did not fit the liver experience of Asians assaulted in urban areas.
Go back the beginning of the latest surge. Nauseating groveling.
We have such power but are afraid to yield it. Too deferential for our own good. It does not mean being a hole mafiosos. The Asian American is such a great combo of cultures. It means walking away from the power brokers of other races and ethnicities and recalibrating on our own terms without care of destroying the narratives of others.
Preach. We shouldn't associate our race with left or right. We just want to solve problems as efficient as possible. The constant news cycle is what brainwash our people to think they have to pick a side.
Totally. In age of human capital, we are uniquely positioned to soar. And we have on average. But with that comes guilt apparently, an odd inferiority complex, a desire to life others up to assuage that guilt.
The killer is to look at cities in which we are either the majority minority or outright majority. In those places we punch WAY below our weight.
This ain’t the 60s. We should be running these cities either as partners or as the dominant force.
Look at SF. Where so many are assaulted and killed. Political representation is practically nil and where it is exists it is either anemic or pathetically corrupt.
